So the American Health Care Act of 2017 passed the House.

Here is honestly how I feel about this.

The problem with health care in the US is the Federal Government.  The Government has mandated, regulated, subsidized, taxed, and in every other way fucked healthcare like a drunken prom queen.

Obama got elected and decided being balls deep in healthcare wasn’t enough.  Expending as much political capital as he could, against the will of half the country and the healthcare industry, he started fisting healthcare too.

Trump got elected and the GOP looked at healthcare and said “Obama hurt millions of people by jamming his left hand wrist deep up healthcare’s ass.  We need to fix this.”  They did so… by jamming their right hand in healthcare.

Now everybody is screaming about just how much this hurts.  The obvious answer of just pull the goverment out of healthcare is the one thing that they are not going to do.

The goverment left the personal computer, cell phone, and internet industries alone and during the course of my life a cell phone went from something that cost more than the Mercedes is was mounted in to something everyone has in their pocket.  If the goverment left healthcare alone, I’m sure by now you could have gotten an x-ray at the local CVS for $25 and have a radiologist e-mail you the results.

When my dog hurt his back, an x-ray, fentanyl patch, and steroids cost me $75 at the vet.  The same x-ray, fentanyl patch, and steroids cost me $250 for the ER co-pay and would have been over $3,500 had I not already met my deductible.  Next time my back goes out, I’m gonna put a collar on and go to the vet.

All that said, here is where this post was going.

There is a lot of bullshit floating around about the AHCA.  Such as rape and sexual assault being re-existing conditions.  They are not, but who on the left cares?

Think Progress and a bunch of other liberal news sites spread the lie that the GOP had a beer fest to celebrate the passing of the AHCA.

Kurt Eichenwald of Newsweek decided that this lie was worth family members of the GOP dying.

Not fulfilling his daily quota of being an asshole, he decided that the AHCA was worth torturing the GOP.

This is the kind of shit that is eventually going to get people killed.

Claiming that “House Republicans vote to sentence millions of Americans to death” and that they celebrated that with cases of beer and should  be tortured for is is the kind of rhetoric that fuels Antifa and the John Brown Gun Club.

One of these assholes who should know better is going to say something untrue but inflammatory and some unhinged Antifa member is going do something stupid and violent.

Then we will all suffer.

  1. “One of these assholes who should know better is going to say something untrue but inflammatory and some unhinged Antifa member is going do something stupid and violent.”

That is considered by some to be a feature and a goal, not a bug or undesirable result.

A standard tenet of the belief in attainment of utopia on Earth has and continues to be the notion that utopia can only be achieved after the complete – and often violent – destruction of current society. Antifa and the snowflakes are useful pawns towards this end.

  2. You said that “This is the kind of shit that is eventually going to get people killed.” But the thing your missing here is they WANT that to happen. I wanted to post something else. These people basically want everyone and I mean EVERYONE who does not think like than and believe what they believe to be killed. Think of it as genocide but they think they need to kill everyone not like them to protect insert minority group here. And when you tell them that could be possibly over 100 million perhaps up to 200 million Unites States citizens they will tell you that is an acceptable number of deaths to live in there utopia. We know what happens in communist and socialist countries. We know what happened in the Soviet Union and the holocaust. You really think that if they had the opportunity to repeat that here they wouldn’t do it in a heartbeat?

antifa is the current militant arm of the left. They have for now lost several of the federal organisations that obama weaponized. They may not be large in number save in california and other democrat controlled urban enclaves but they have the full backing of the media and democratic party. If this does turn hot an they start killing people I expect the media to defend them and the democratic party to say nothing since they support killing republicans too.

  3. This isn’t terribly unusual. A friend of mine is a recovering addict, and posted something on social media where he celebrated the potential end of Obamacare.

Someone responded to him in a certain fashion…

“I can’t wait to see your GoFundMe campaign for when you inevitably relapse…”

“Being an addict is genetic, so you are going to have a lot of fun when your son gets hooked on heroin in a few years…”

The person posting these comments is a crazed progressive, in case it wasn’t obvious.

Another friend of mine posted something similar celebrating the potential end of Obamacare.

Another crazed progressive immediately called him out…

“Fat f–ks like you will be screwed if this passes the Senate…”

For whatever reason, the Trumpcare bill passing the House last week got a lot of pathologically violent progressives to come out of the woodwork, wishing death on others to prove their point.

It’d be like me saying to an anti-gunner “Well, I hope someone breaks into your house…”

  4. All these jackasses are like I hope it happens to them (Congress)! Well wtf do they care? They have the best free insurance on the planet right now and for the rest of their lives. They don’t give a flying fuck.

Imo the sooner we stop calling it insurance and start calling it a discount club card the better. It is not used like insurance is supposed to be by many people, maybe even the majority of people.
