Not only that, but herds of cattle that are allowed to roam freely fertilize the grasses and restore them. They move around so that they don’t eat where they left their waste until it’s all absorbed. Herds of cattle, left to behave like wild cattle, restore grasslands that have been written off as lost. Reference the TED talk by Dr. Allan Savory.
