And six continuous shots of buckshot makes for a great home invader repellant. Switch the red dot for green laser and that thing is just perfect for the close and medium range, awkward position engagement.

I have long thought the novelty shotgun craze would be a lot more practical if the shotguns used or came with green lazers expecially the ones that form patterns that expand with distance. Now that remington has dropped the first boot i wonder if we will hear about a 930 version from mossberg by SHOT. Either way cool.

I am kinda fond of my hands, though. The arthritis isn’t overwhelming enough to make them useless, although this might help.
From personal experience shooting slugs from an SBS Mossberg 590 with a bird’s head grip, it really isn’t that bad on the hands. Nothing like those murderous Pistol grips.
A gas-operated semi would probably be surprisingly pedestrian.
Back during Prohibition, when the “whippet” (a sawed-off pump carried by St. Louis-area police, so called because you “whip it out”) and the Ithaca Auto Burglar were in semi-common use, they were in 20 gauge. I think that with the recoil reduction of the semi-auto action, one of these in 20 gauge would be the bee’s knees wrapped in the cat’s pajamas. But I’m an old, creaky, non-operator, so what do I know?
