CORRECTION: Reliable sources tell me that Lanza brought 4 pistols, 2 AR-type rifles and a Remington 870 shotgun. He took inside one of the rifles and a Glock in 10mm and a a Sig in 9mm.
He was also armed with Block 10mm and Sig Sauer 9 mm handguns, both of which allow high-capacity clips.
(A what? Must be a new gun in the market.)

Question: if by some miracle they did ban “High capacity assault magazine clips,” um, what exactly would they be banning? I don’t know of anything that goes by that name.
They will define it as any firearm feeding device which number they don’t like….. or multiple subscriptions to Office Depot catalogs….not sure which will be.
The “clips” for my Mosin Negant hold only 5 rounds each and will not hold more.
The “clips” for my AR’s hold only 10 rounds each and will not hold more so where dose that leave ME?
My Block’s don’t use “clips” at all…

Are there any sources to this other than the initial reporting, or have they gone down the memory hole already? I wouldn’t put it past them to lie but I also know that initial reporting is often inaccurate as well.
I too have to throw a yellow flag on the play.
Initial reports were that the AR-pattern rifle was pulled from the car AFTER the fact and all the shooting was done with the pistols.
Then reports were modified/clarified to state that all shots were from the AR, the pistols weren’t used at all,(except the sucide shot), and it was a *shotgun* pulled from the car. I have, as yet, not seen any difinitive proof either way…only ‘news reports’ parroting whatever the police are releasing to them.
The medical examiner said all the kill shots were from a rifle.

OK, found very reliable sources indicating that yes, it was an AR type used out of 2 Lanza brought.
And I read a report not 2 days ago where the Police Chief stated that no rifle was used but only the handguns. Lemme see if I can find the link

An article in one of my countries newspaper. Long story short: every mass-murderer uses one of these and they’re available at any newsstand, no background check needed.
Fact checking is pain in the a…, right.
Problem is, the most “successful” mass murders (non 9/11) were done with either fire or explosives. Ringling Bros. Circus Arson with 169 victims and Murrah Building in OKC 168 victims.
