Hummmm…they are all in the Western Hemisphere! I’m surprised some of the cities in the Middle East did not make the list, especially with what is going on in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Johannesburg is missing…. now that is funky. But maybe they only had to go with official channels and you know how some stats get…diminished?
You would think, with all the media wants to portray the US as being a violent war-zone with shootings everywhere, that more than 3 US cities would be on the list.
Also, Detroit gets the dubious distinction of being the ONLY US city in the top 10. Kind of surprised Chicago didn’t make the cut.
Lot of Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.

No, gun crime is BECAUSE of the gang warfare and drug lords. Gun Crime is not an entire separate category of crime, although to be fair it is more likely to result in a death.
