I think those sticks (tiki torches) they are holding in their hands are supposed to mean something, but I don’t know what.
As my wife likes to point out, a lot of people who are seriously into some subject, from law to politics to science, tend to throw around items and terms without realizing that 95% of the audience has no idea what they are talking about, and don’t particularly care.
Pretty sure the torches are ment to refer to the Charlottesville rally in 2017.
