Look at Canada. hundreds of thousands, if not millions in the streets (In a country of less than 40 Million), and the Government Apparatchiks of the Federal Capitol City are cheering the cops that busted heads and cleared the peaceful protesters out. Their state subsidized news media has successfully broadcast the narrative that Justin Trudeau has saved Canada from Anarchy by hateful Racist Neo-Nazis. The passing of the Canadian Emergency Measures (Enabling) Act still has to play out. If the Liberals and the NDP succeed in passing it, then their only hope is a ful blown dictatorship.

There’s never going to be a Capitol Riot trial. They’ll never talk to a lawyer, nevertheless be subject to a bunch of pre-trial motions, get transferred around to different holding centers “for their own safety”, and ultimately get “Epsteined”.
Even if the GOP wins bigly in 2022 and 2024, there’s enough GOP squishes who side with the Dems on this that the protesters are effectively “unpersoned”.
I hope I’m wrong, but Marjorie Taylor-Greene notwithstanding I haven’t seen enough GOP outrage on Capitol Hill to hold much hope for them.
