I am guessing that George has not gone religiously to his local Wally World in search of supplies. A couple of almost non-entities in the gun control debate and USA Today freak about 5 guns and 100 rounds of ammo as if it was proof positive that a war was about to be declared in Central Florida. People, please get a grip. My cat was just laying on top of 400 rounds of ammo here on the desk and I carry almost 50 rounds of ammo when I leave the house with my gun for serious social occasions. Anybody that carries a Glock 19 and 2 spare mags will go over 50 rounds and not even think about it.

PS: The shotgun confiscated was a KelTec KSG 12. While the Antis are commenting and complaining about Zimmerman having all that ammo, Gunnies pretty much are asking the same thing: Where the hell did Zimmerman get a KSG12, the Sasquatch of long guns?
He got a KSG, but apparently he didn’t get anything to shoot through it.
Wasn’t there a thing a while back with him touring the Kel-Tec factory? Makes me wonder if they had an FFL on site and sold/gave him one then and there.
I like the freaking out in some of the stories about the KSG, saying it “Holds twice as many rounds as other shotguns!” If they found out what a Saiga 12 was I think they would hemorrhage.
Same size as my gun collection, tho the mix is different and I have enough ammo to make their black hearts stop beating.
And from what I’ve read, no one was ever in any danger because the chick lied.
Rob, While she might be telling the truth, she has sort of poisoned her own credibility because before the event, she was shopping a tell-all interview to the highest bidder. Obviously it will factor into how believable she is to a jury.
The fact is that everyone seems to feel obligated to believe the “victim”, in these situations which also always seems to default into being the female. Courtesy of what is called the “Duluth Model” which teaches the male is always the aggressor.
It’s always great when the guy has a .22 and has ‘thousands of rounds OMG’. It’s almost 2014, you’d think they’d learn by now lol.
5 guns? I thought he was a gun owner? I have more than 5 shotguns. The gun haters would leave multi-colored stains in their panties if they saw the amount of ammo I have. I have over 100 rounds in the scrap bin that I need to break down and salvage.

I remember seeing a story on George touring the factory and the shotgun was a gift.
I have a couple dozen cans of soup in my cabinet. OMG, I must be a hoarder! Too bad GZ is becoming a poster boy for the left, he’s been through a lot.
I don’t think you guys are thinking this through. OF COURSE he has more ammo than that. I’ll bet you anything the ammo is buried with whatever other firearms he owned. He had to know that with a domestic violence charge they’d be coming for his weapons.
