From The New York Times:

The Elderly vs. Essential Workers: Who Should Get the Coronavirus Vaccine First?

With the coronavirus pandemic surging and initial vaccine supplies limited, the United States faces a hard choice: Should the country’s immunization program focus in the early months on the elderly and people with serious medical conditions, who are dying of the virus at the highest rates, or on essential workers, an expansive category encompassing Americans who have borne the greatest risk of infection?

“Teachers have middle-class salaries, are very often white, and they have college degrees,” he said. “Of course they should be treated better, but they are not among the most mistreated of workers.”

Harald Schmidt, an expert in ethics and health policy at the University of Pennsylvania, said that it is reasonable to put essential workers ahead of older adults, given their risks, and that they are disproportionately minorities. “Older populations are whiter, ” Dr. Schmidt said. “Society is structured in a way that enables them to live longer. Instead of giving additional health benefits to those who already had more of them, we can start to level the playing field a bit.”

But to protect older people more at risk, he called on the C.D.C. committee to also integrate the agency’s own “social vulnerability index.”

The index includes 15 measures derived from the census, such as overcrowded housing, lack of vehicle access and poverty, to determine how urgently a community needs health support, with the goal of reducing inequities.

See, the problem with giving the vaccine to the elderly – who are at greater risk – or teachers – who are essential- is that they are too white.

We can’t prioritize some vulnerable people if their ethnicity is wrong.  That’s not equitable.

Another government heath project with racism and eugenics deeply ingrained in it.

Who could have seen that coming?

Anyone familiar with the Tuskegee experiment, Dr. Mengele, the history of Planned Parenthood, people familiar with the Indian Health Service, Buck v. Bell, Japanese Unit 731, it’s a long list.

But this time it’s white people who will die so that’s fine then.

I swear “medical ethicist” is a term that means “someone who figures out how to justify the murder of undesirables.”

The scariest part is that they are willing to say this in the NYT.  Makes you wonder what they are not willing to say.

  1. I’m still waiting for someone to define in objective, empirical, and falsifiable terms just what the actual fuck a “white” person is.

    1. “Paler skin than I have.” At least in this context. It’s like participation trophies for victimhood.

      Remember:
To the farmer with 10 cows, the farmer with 20 cows is a rich exploitative Kulak.
To the farmer with 1 cow, the farmer with 10 cows is a rich exploitative Kulak.
To the villager who has no cow, the farmer with 1 cow is a rich exploitative Kulak.

  2. You have it backwards. Or, rather, they’re saying the opposite of what they really mean.

    It’s Tuskegee, alright.

Mass test the vaccine on minorities before letting white people get it. Experiment on them to make sure its safe first.

Same reason why George Floyd’s funeral had 10,000 people but my friend’s father’s funeral was limited to 10. Same reason BLM protests have been exempted from all bans on gatherings of more than x number of people.

If they *wanted* to kill more black people, how would they act differently?

(I think the vaccine is safe. This is tongue in cheek. Or is it? 🤔)

  3. In my opinion the VERY FIRST HUMANS WHO GET THIS VACCINATION should be the Political Class. Every member of Congress should get both doses at least six months before everyone else.

This way when it turns out it is a killer then we can start with a clean political landscape.

    1. Eh. I’d kind of prefer a clean slate, tbh, although of course I would prefer that to happen via ballot box than test tube.

  4. 15 December 2020, MSNBC, Dr. Vin Gupta observed (https://twitter.com/i/status/1338917618808475648) that “We don’t know if just getting the vaccination prevents serious illness, or does it also prevent you from getting infection entirely?” Gupta continued, “meaning you can still get infected with the virus potentially and pass it on to others … Don’t let your guard down just because you got vaccinated.”(Quoted on Townhall on 16 December 2020)

Maybe, this is the plan for Stage 3 trials?

Me, I’m simply a dumb hick midlevel, in flyover country, BUT! I have never, ever, once, received a vaccine for anything (MMR, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, and so on, and so on) NOR administered a vaccine (Like for Rabies) with the thought that “Hey, ya know what? I betcha this will not protect me against (insert name of disease here)! Let’s get on with this thing!”

    Describe “Our Betters”:
    Select one box:
    STUPID
    MALIGNANT
    SOCIOPATHIC
    ALL OF THE ABOVE

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
