The original ad by Apple. It was the Reagan Era and the Democrats back them wanted everybody to thing Ronnie was the Big Brother and inject fears of an all intruding, all powerful state. Of course they shed that and now they are using the book as guideline.

No disrespect, but the original Apple 1984 ad had nothing to do with Reagan and opposition from Democrats.
Big Brother symbolized IBM and Apple was overthrowing the PC dominance with the introduction of the Macintosh. The tag line was, “On January 24th, Apple Computer will introduce Macintosh. And you’ll see why 1984 won’t be like 1984.”

Fortnite came up with a way to allow in-app purchases (pay-for-win) that didn’t go through Apples payment services, and so didn’t give Apple their 30% cut. They did the same on Android and got banned there, too.
