Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. Publix isn’t wrong. When you stock up for 2-4 weeks of no-power-due-to-swirly-storms, you are stocked up and prepped for just about anything except for a major end-of-the-world event.

I still can’t believe people live up north in snow-lands without 2-4 weeks of preps.

    1. 2 weeks of clean clothes in rubbermaid totes. 4 weeks minimum of water. 4 weeks of canned and dry food (no Mountain House soy-based garbage, real food like Spam and Dinty Moore and canned beans and pasta and rice and such.) 8 weeks of dogfood. Basic medical supplies including lots of alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, band-aids and gauze and such. 4 Coleman lanterns powered by propane cylinders with 20 cylinders. 2 butane stoves with 10 butane cylinders (need to get more.) Gas grill (need to get new cylinder.) Axes, hatchets, machetes and pruning saws.

Can’t do much about meds other than try to refill them as quickly as possible.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
