Why I could not live in D.C.? besides the inability to carry, I’d be cited and arrested so many timed for “vandalism.” My vandalism would be just getting some warning signs attacked to different parts of the Capitol fence just to screw with them. The first one that came to mind was “Don’t feed the animals,” “Zero days without an accident” “Do not pick up hitchhikers”, etc.
But the one that would surely send me to enjoy time in the local jail would be a replica of this one right there in each entrances toward the Capitol:

Yeah… had we left California in good order in the fall of 2019, instead of in haste in late December of that year, we might have turned back long enough to post one of those at the border, on the westbound side.
So many places they’re needed nowadays.

Get everyone inside for some sort of special event, pull the NG out and put padlocks on all the gates. Once they’re locked in, put up the “do not feed the animals” signs.

Having lived a mile north of the White House for a few years, I can assure you there is no American sector anywhere in Washington DC.
