I have to renew my FL CCW permit. I also have to finally change it from a resident to a non resident permit.
I called the FL dept of agricultural this morning.
Question about CCW licenses is choice number 1 in the automated system.
I spoke with a representative after less than 5 min on hold. He told me exactly what I needed to do, and guided through the website.
The website is excellent.
Having gotten CCW permits in Illinois and Nebraska, Florida is so much easier to get information and do stuff online.
I think the FL department of agriculture knows why most people are going to their website and have responded accordingly.

From a state with a balanced budget amendment no less.
And the CWP system is self sustaining. All the monies for the operation come from the fees and not the state budget, nor the State is allowed to touch those funds
