When these women say “My Body, My Choice” they ain’t kidding.
I stated long ago that the worst thing that it could happen to the traditional Women’s Liberation movement was that women would actually find out that more than any law in the books, a gun would be the greatest equalizer against abuses by men. And as very nasty side effect, they would learn that personal responsibility tastes good making any intervention by a paternalistic state a less than welcome interference.
The day of “Let me help you there little lady” are slowly coming to an end. I could not be any happier.

I would feel much better if all of the women in my family carried, not just my wife.
Is the 70,000 figure just for one month right? That is an amazing number! Indicates a large segment of the female population is waking up to something.
If all women were armed, rape would virtually disappear. The utterly lame excuse for the violence of rape would morph from “she was dressed provocatively and asking for it” to “she wasn’t packing heat so I could still get away with it.”
The same goes for armed robbery, kidnapping, assault and home invasions. A host of criminals that assume the ambient temperature and kick their nasty oxygen habits just seems like a societal benefit to me.
“An armed society is a polite society.”
