He knows the word humble, he just doesn’t understand what it means or how to apply it in his own life.
Also, I want to take on the last two parts of his Tweet:

So, he’s not setting up a manufacturing facility, he’s subcontracting to an existing manufacturer. He is admitting that they won’t be able to scale the production of their pillows, which makes me wonder what this place is if they can’t produce at a rate of 1,000 pillows per month. That is 50 pillows per day in an 8 hour day or 6.25 pillows per hour.
Do you have any idea how slow of a production rate that is?

So I guess they are expecting not to sell 1,000 pillows per month.
At least they let this information be known advance to any potential investors. It’s good to tell people who might want to lend you money that you will have an abysmally low production rate and even then won’t be able to sell all of your inventory.
This is going to be the Solyndra or Juicero of pillows.
Chances are they found a manufacturer who can only sell them 2 or 3 days of line time that first month, because they are already contracted to produce for others the rest of the month.
What that says to me is that their pillows will be no different from any other pillow in the store except for price (more expensive) and label.
To quote a former President: “You didn’t build that!”
The little guy who was complaining about NAFTA is now celebrating that they’re … wait for it … outsourcing their manufacturing plant.

Yup. Note he said “US based.” Not ‘made’ in the US. US “based.” There is a world of difference.
My bet is that the actual pillow is made outside the US.
They have announced dinner of the people on the board and I’m sure Hogg isn’t working for free…
Call it $75,000 per year for those three people. That gives us 18,750.00 per month and they are looking for 1000 per month on sales. $18.75 per pillow just fire those three.
They are going to end up with a pillow that costs them $75 and they are going to need another $75 per pillow to cover operating costs.

My talent as an artist tends towards poorly drawn stick men, but I have a vision for a cartoon of a ramshackle store front labeled “Spite Pillow Factory-D. Hogg Prop.” a sign in the window “Made by American union workers,” while a a van labeled “China Pillow factory #2” makes deliveries in the rear.
His pillows will be probably be marketed as fundraiser pillows, they could sell them for $1000 a pop and only a true progressive would one one. He would likely sell all 50 they could make each day if marketed as such.

They have yet to announce how their unionized, sustainable, uber-woke factory will be powered. Gotta have lights, ya know. With that in mind, I’m preparing a proposal to provide 100% renewable, all-organic, free-range electricity. How am I gonna do this? 2 words…WHALE OIL
