I Laugh at Thee!

So several years ago and under a different administration, I got the bug of reloading my ammo. People laughed because I was collecting 9mm brass like it was an article of faith to be revered. Back then only people shooting the .45 ACP were collecting brass and only those who liked to reload or shoot it in heavy volume.

Then on another scare, I decided that fighting for bullets was hard enough so I got into casting. I bought and scavenged enough lead to open an old school printing shop using Linotype and practiced around till I got a decent bullet although I admit I still have an issue with getting the correct hardness for supersonic loads.

Eventually SWMBO stepped in and said I had enough stuff. I did some secret buy of primers just to replace what I had burned & used and if she found out, she did not say a thing. She does complain when I used to leave the lead furnace on the coffee table and the cat was playing with the sprue.

As of right now, I can take on the cast, crew and extras of all the seasons of The Walking Dead….three times over.

And I swear I have never seen gun ranges so clean in my life.

Yes, I am gloating. Deal with it.

Press Release: Olympic Arms, Inc. Announces New York State Sales Policy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Olympic Arms is a staunch believer in and defender of the Constitution of the United States, and with special attention paid to the Bill of Rights that succinctly enumerates the security of our Divinely given Rights. One of those Rights is that to Keep and Bear Arms.

Legislation recently passed in the State of New York outlaws the AR15 and many other firearms, and will make it illegal for the good and free citizens of New York to own a large selection of legal and safe firearms and magazines. We feel as though the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States, ignoring such SCOTUS rulings as District of Columbia v. Heller – 554, U.S. 570 of 2008, McDonald v. Chicago – 561 U.S. 3025 of 2010, and specifically the case of United States v. Miller – 307 U.S. 174 of 1939.

Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity – will no longer be served as customers.

In short, Olympic Arms will no longer be doing business with the State of New York or any governmental entity or employee of such governmental entity within the State of New York – henceforth and until such legislation is repealed, and an apology made to the good people of the State of New York and the American people.

If the leaders of the State of New York are willing to limit the right of the free and law abiding citizens of New York to arm themselves as they see fit under the Rights enumerate to all citizens of the United State through the Second Amendment, we feel as though the legislators and government entities within the State of New York should have to abide by the same restrictions.

This action has caused a division of the people into classes: Those the government deems valuable enough to protect with modern firearms, and those whose lives have been deemed as having less value, and whom the government has decided do not deserve the right to protect themselves with the same firearms. Olympic Arms will not support such behavior or policy against any citizen of this great nation.

Olympic Arms invites all firearms manufacturers, distributors and firearms dealers to join us in this action to refuse to do business with the State of New York. We must stand together, or we shall surely fall divided.

Sincerely,

Brian Schuetz
President

NBC caught fibbing again. Accidental Hat Tip to CSGV

chicago gun deaths first

I do have to thank the Coalition to Stop Gun Rights Violence for making me check out this map.  I gave the map a quick look and I was amazed to see that according to NBC, that weekend was peaceful across the Windy City.

chicago gun deaths
A circle indicated a “gun death” (other deaths are irrelevant) and the color determined the type of gun death. As you can see NOT ONE DEATH happened in Chicago during MLK weekend according to NBC.

Except, stuff did happen according to the Chicago Sun Times: 17 people shot, 2 fatalities.

chicago gun deaths2Damn it! Chicago has the best Gun Control Laws in the country! How dare the truth screw up the narrative!

13 year old genetically designed to freak the crap out of Gun Control Activists.

Her name is Katelyn Francis and likes to “play” in 3 Gun Matches. Do enjoy her choice of firearms.

Gun Range Nazis….

On Facebook yesterday, a lovely young girl posted a picture of herself shooting an AR-15 .22. She was proud of herself for getting out there and shooting. I think her name was Kelly. Pretty girl. Cool rifle. (An M&P15-22)

And being a Novice Shooter, she held the rifle in the classic New Gun Girl Stance. Meaning her cheek weld was directly above the rifle butt. I’d post the picture but she pulled it down.

Why did she pull it down?

Was it her Liberal Friends who were giving her hell because she was shooting a gun?

Nope. It was from Shooters who Dog Piled on her for her posture.

I see that the Ultra Macho Super Tattoo Gun Crowd is still doing the best: being stupid. They are like little boys that do not want girls in their super-secret tree house because girls are yucky or they are afraid they will take over.

I have news for you guys: Women took over many other aspects of life long time ago. I heard many moons ago that Eve had a taste of the Forbidden Fruit 15 minutes before Adam and that women have kept that advantage ever since. Guns are the natural progression in their war of conquest so better shape up or be ready to be pounced upon by the softer-not-quite-weak sex.

Don’t be dicks.

Dear Mayors: See NICS Checks and then speak.

NICS CHECKSFor 2012: One gun sold every two seconds or so.

January 2013: Almost one gun sold per second.

Almost 20 million firearms in went to the hands of Citizens in 2012. All Military and Law Enforcement in the US tops around a bit over 3 million. And some idiotic 60 Mayors say they won’t do business with gun manufacturers that do not stop making semi automatic firearms.

When we have Mayors that cannot do basic math, it is not a wonder why many cities are in the brink of bankruptcy or carrying a heavy debt. At the most, all Government sales would span 2 months worth of private sales. And whatever those cities do not buy, I am damn sure it will be sold in the civilian market before the Mayors could say “Maybe we fucked up this one, Joe.”
