Law of Self Defense – Ohio House Passes HB-203: “Stand Your Ground” and More Goodness

Well, the Ohio House of Representatives have passed HB-203 by an overwhelming 62-27 vote. The bill next proceeds to the Ohio Senate.

HB-203 has been previously mentioned here at lawofselfdefense.com as Ohio’s proposed “stand-your-ground” bill, and that’s certainly true.

The bill is also, however, full of all kinds of other pro-gun goodness, including improved reciprocity, and the issuance of concealed handgun licenses (CHLs) to non-residents.

Well done Ohio…. and if I am not mistaken, the vote is veto-proof. No idea what th Governor will do.

CSGV has an issue about the Sandy Hook Massacre Video game

CSGV Sandy Hook Game1The creator is credited as Ryan Jake Lambourn, Twitter handle @googumproduce, who claims to live in Australia. Lambourn has tweeted that the game is “about importance [sic] of gun control.”

A Gun Control Activist from Australia has managed to give the Gun Control movement a black eye by designing and uploading a truly disgusting game replicating the Sandy Hook massacre. As how the hell is he gonna “remove the game from the Internet” is beyond me and it will probably happen the same day we will have our first Unicorn race at Churchill Downs during Derby Day.

See? I have no problem when people do stupid stuff like that as long as it benefit us.

If Moms Demand Action do it, is Activism. If Gun Owners do it is Bulliying

MDA was all cheerful and feeling triumphant last week as they convince a Staples Manager to post a Gun Free Zone sign in the store:

MDA Staples VirginiaBut when Gun Owners decided to also go activist…well… it is Bullying (AKA Extortion Light)

MDA Staples Virginia2We are gonna see more of this name-calling as we approach the anniversary of the Sandy Hook Massacre. Don’t be stupid, play it cool, make fun of their shrillness, point the obvious contradictions and keep at it.

They are like the Desperate Stepford Wives on double machiattos, non-soy, cappuccinos with a side of meth. The thought of counter-activism drives them up the moss-covered walls of their high-priced HOAs.

PS: Now that MDA was kind enough to leave the phone numbers of the store and HQ, give them a call.
