In giving probation with no jail time to a Milwaukee man charged with 55 counts of buying firearms with fake identification and dealing them without a license, a federal judge delivered a message:”People kill people,” U.S. District Rudolph Randa said, echoing a common gun rights slogan. “Guns don’t kill people.” Dontray Mills, 24, purchased a total of 27 firearms, mostly handguns, between December 2012 and April 2014 and pleaded guilty to one of the charges on April 22, 2014, after an ATF investigation. As a result of the conviction, Mills will never again be able to buy firearms legally.

Yes, 55 counts and he gets off with probation. in the ATF for 4473 one of the first things printed is the penalties for violation 18 USC – 921: 10 years in jail plus $200,000 fines per count. Mr. Mills could have faced 550 years in jail and 11 million dollars in fines if convicted in all counts.
Same as with the Brady Background checks which our Opposition puff their collective concave chests and claim 2 million criminals have been stopped from acquiring guns, but go mute the second you ask them how many prosecutions have been done against those alleged 2 million violators and how many of those have resulted in convictions.
But I am the problem because I don’t want more laws restricting my freedoms and refuse to “have a conversation” about guns.”
So much for #gunsense.
