Social media is ablaze with people wanting Michelle Obama to run for president.

If during the course of my lifetime, the president’s of the United States are:

George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, Bush’s Son, Barack Obama, Clinton’s Wife, Obama’s Wife, Clinton’s Daughter…

I only have two words for you: Yellowhammer Irregulars.

I refuse to live in a nation that votes to subject itself to monarchs.

I really hate having to defend Trump, but I find the lying and distortions by the media to be even more unpalatable.

It may be unprecedented for a presidential candidate to say that he won’t trust the results of an election if he loses.  This may be Trump being his typical over-the-top loudmouth self.

But I need to take his statement with a little dose of reality.

One of the things that Wikileaks has shown us was just how much the Hillary Clinton campaign, along with the DNC, cheated to knock Bernie Sanders out of the primary.

Now, all of a sudden I am supposed to believe that these same people who brazenly violated the will of Democrat primary voters will play the national presidential election totally, 100% clean?

They really do think we are that stupid.

It is infuriating.

Australia’s tough gun controls will be further tightened to restrict access to new rapid-fire shotguns, the prime minister said Wednesday.But a pro-gun independent senator warned Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull that the move will add to the government’s difficulty in getting legislation through the Senate. Turnbull was commenting on the fate of the Adler A110 shotgun, a Turkish-manufactured lever-action weapon that was banned from importation last year as an Australian gun dealer was taking orders to sell hundreds.
The Adler can fire eight shots as fast as pump-action shot guns, which are a highly restricted category of rapid-fire gun under national regulations designed to limit the risk of mass shootings.

There you have it folks. The Australian Gun Laws consider both the pump and the lever-action shotgun as rapid–fire guns and a danger to society! No semi-auto shotgun with a 20 round drum, but simple mechanical shotties with eight rounds, two under their magical 10 round low capacity dream. At least in the case of the pump, we are talking about the most popular shotgun in the United States that if given the chance, Mistress Von Hillary (may her whip crack loudly) would not mind making illegal like in Australia. And they will find an excuse to demonstrate why suddenly Old Granpa’s gun is really a menace to civilized society and the live of the little children across the globe (probably Global Warming.)

Remember: It is never enough. And the won’t stop as the want you unarmed and defenseless. Then you are easy prey.

That said, I understand the rationale behind gun control — particularly after a massacre like the one that happened in Orlando’s Pulse nightclub in June.I understand why a new group calling itself the Florida Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence is doing what it’s doing.The group, formed by the League of Women Voters of Florida and more than 100 partner organizations, hopes to see legislation introduced this year to ban all semi-automatic “assault weapons” in Florida, and outlaw high-capacity feeder devices. In addition, the group wants to establish “comprehensive universal background checks” which would, among other things, close Florida’s “gun show loophole.”

I wrote about the League of Women Voters of Florida back when they were opposing silencers for hunting in Florida and lost their plea. We found out that they are at least fans if not direct supporters of the Brady Campaign and Moms Demand/Everytown.  So much for keeping up with the statement from the main League of Women Voters’s website.

The League is proud to be nonpartisan, neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government, but always working on vital issues of concern to members and the public.

Yeah, apparently they did not get the message in the Florida chapter. And I haven’t even bothered to check other chapters across the nation as I would not be surprised if they are also Liberal hot beds for more Socialist Fascism.

And about banning “assault rifles” and outlawing high-capacity feeder devices, Do they even know they live in Florida? Do they actually think only a couple of Rednecks that live in Davie and the inhabitants of some trailer park up in Wauchula are the only people with those items? In a state with 1,644,302 Concealed Weapons Permits (issued as of June 30th) the people suddenly  will say “Oh yes, we will be getting rid of out scary magazines and dumping them in the Everglades just because you are scared of your own shadow.”

And for the rifles? Molon Labe bitches!

On a funny note, I “liked” their Facebook page to stay abreast of their shenanigans… and this happened.

In a bizarre Florida case more fitting for “Ripley’s Believe It or Not,” George Zimmerman — the man who killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012 claiming self-defense — won a case against his own assailant, Matthew Apperson, who shot at Zimmerman during a 2015 road rage incident.

But what makes this case so strange isn’t just that this is the second time in three years Zimmerman was on one end of a discharged firearm — it’s that the very same “Stand Your Ground” defense Zimmerman used to avoid prison time was also used — unsuccessfully — by Apperson.

It is my firm belief that those who get in trouble by the confusion and misuse of Stand Your Ground, do so because they pay attention to idiotic journalists like Richard Aborn, the author of this article. I am sure he is proud of this little conglomeration of words and does not realize the colossal contradiction he is giving within three sentences.

Journalists do get things wrong, but they do not have the right to stay wrong on purpose.

But if we have learned anything this year is that the Press is no longer interested in either the news or to correct its own mistakes. It is officially no better than a propaganda tool to be used in political enterprises for the elite. They are dangerously close to Malice and losing the protections offered by the First Amendment and centuries of jurisprudence.

In a follow up to my last post, it seems that Amy Schumer couldn’t help but double down and issue a non-apology for imploding her show in Tampa.

“Dearest Tampa: I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now,” she read from an “open letter” at Madison Square Garden. “How could I think it was OK to spend five minutes having a peaceful conversation with someone with different views?”

Really?  So for her “having a peaceful conversation with someone with different views” is ridiculing a whole bunch of people to their faces, then bringing one person up on stage to berate them for their beliefs.

“After the show, I want you to know that I will go straight to a rehab facility that will teach me how to make all people happy — both the rich, entitled, white people who are gonna vote for him and the very poor people who’ve been tricked into it.”

No, toots, you don’t get it.  This is the problem with celebrities and the super rich.  They get it into their heads that because they make more money and are more famous than most people, they are smarter than us and are always right about everything and can lecture us at any time about any issue.  Insulting your audience is also not a wise move.

The people who went to her show went to see a stand-up routine, not hear an unsolicited political diatribe.  Her job is tell jokes, when she is on stage doing a show that people paid for, her job is to do a routine that people expect.  When her customers are disappointed that they didn’t get the service they paid for, they left.

Being a comedian doesn’t change the fact that people paid for tickets with a certain expectation, and an anti-Trump lecture was not part of that.  Would that behavior be expected with any other job?

If your mechanic is charging you by the hour, would you want to pay if he took 15 minutes in the middle of fixing your alternator to give you an anti-gun lecture?

Of course not.

How would my clients like it if when I wrote up a report on a heat treat analysis and included in my report a page about Hillary Clinton’s corruption?

Why is it any different for Schumer.  It’s not, and that’s why people walked out.  It’s in part why the NFL is seeing a decline ratings, people want to watch football to enjoy some TV, and when the players are protesting and ESPN is now more political than MSNBC people are turning it off.

The once great George Carlin did political humor.  Back in the day, he was anti-establishment and it was funny.  There is good political humor.  During the GW Bush administration he just became a hack.  His routine was not funny, it was just one long anti-Bush tirade, and it didn’t do well.   He killed is own career going from making fun of politicians to being hyper partisan.  Very few people wanted to sit through a 90 minute show where every punchline was – quite literally – “fuck Bush.”

Tell your jokes, throw the ball, sing the songs we want to hear, and don’t berate your audience with your political opinions while you are on their dime.

But no.  Schumer, instead, is going to prove just how nasty and scolding a person she is.

“I look forward to putting this all behind us in a couple weeks when Hillary Clinton is our mother——- president!” she said. 

Just yuck!
