Just some observations from reading and watching gun stuff on the internet:

Gun “expert”:  The RP9 sucks because the slide stop can’t be used left handed and this is the worst thing ever.

Also gun “expert”: Glock is Perfection® and TEH AWESOME and the only gun that should ever be made, and it’s had nothing but a right hand only slide stop since 1982*.

*The 1911 has been the same way since… 1911 but internet tough guy says those suck and are obsolete so we won’t  bring that up.  

Another gun “expert”: It’s a slide stop not a slide release and you shouldn’t be using it in a gunfight because it’s fine motor control and that fails all the time blah blah blah…

Industry: “What do the customers want?”

Customers: “We want in novation.  We want a handgun that holds 25 rounds of 9mm, weighs 8 ox unloaded, is small enough to fit in the front pocket of a pair of jeans and has a grip size that fits 6’3″ weekend warrior and his 5’1″ girlfriend equally well.  It should have a service life of 1,000,000 rounds and never need cleaning or lubrication.  It has to put all the bullets through the same hole at 25 yards.  It has to be snag free but have enough pic rail real estate to mount whatever I want and the mini-red dot to it.  It can never jam, ever, even if I run old Soviet steel case through it that I left out in the rain for two weeks.  And it has to have an MSRP of $29.99 so I can get it online for $19.95.”

Industry: “Ummm… OK…? We’ll do our best.”

Customers: “It sucks, why can’t you be innovative.”

It’s like gun people can never be happy.

Austin, TX – A woman is hospitalized after her vehicle plunges to the street from a 7th floor parking garage in Downtown Austin.
It happened around the intersection of East Sixth and Brazos Streets at 8:30 a.m. July 13th. Police say the car fell off the parking garage and landed in an alley, hitting another car down below
The driver is hospitalized but expected to be okay.

I understand the need to help, but in cases like this and unless there is an outgoing danger like fire or major loss blood that needs to be contained:

DO. NOT. MOVE. THE. VICTIM!

Stay there, comfort, but wait for the professionals that have the proper equipment to remove the person safely. You good intentions may cause a bigger harm.

UPDATE:  If the above is not enough, this is another type of encouragement  to wait for rescue:

No good deed goes unpunished, or so goes the saying.Such was the case with Lisa Torti, who is being sued for pulling a now-paralyzed friend from the wreckage of a Los Angeles car accident in 2004.The victim’s lawyers claim the Good Samaritan bumbled the rescue and caused injury by yanking her friend “like a rag doll” to safety.

After filing nearly a dozen gun-related bills for the 2017 legislative session and seeing none of them become law, state Sen. Greg Steube is scaling back on his proposals for 2018 and focusing on less controversial measures.Steube, R-Sarasota, filed two gun bills this week. One bill would allow concealed weapon permit holders to carry a gun up to a courthouse security checkpoint and leave the weapon with security. The other would require a business to provide security if it prohibits people from carrying concealed weapons and would make that business liable if someone prohibited from carrying a weapon is injured by another person or animal.A third gun bill in the works would clarify that accidentally exposing a concealed weapon is not a crime, Steube said

We are not getting Good Gun Bill for next year due to the sudden loss of testicles by the GOP legislators.

This is no longer a case of one or two senators or one representatives cowering to the supposedly power of the Anti Gun Groups, we are seeing a full contagion going on and it is because we have been kind and voted for them come hell or high water. It is our fault, we are suffering from a political form of Battered Wife Syndrome and it has to stop.

Conroe’s chief of police was asked to leave the Texas Ear Nose and Throat Specialists office in The Woodlands Tuesday afternoon because he was carrying his firearm. Chief Philip Dupuis told The Courier he was wearing his badge on his belt in plain view next to his handgun, as well as his Conroe PD identification on a lanyard around his neck when he entered the doctor’s office in the 3900 block of Pinecroft Drive around 4 p.m. and started to check in. A receptionist took his driver’s license and insurance card before questioning him about the gun on his hip. Dupuis said she asked him to take his gun out to his car. The 35-year law enforcement veteran, who never has had an accidental discharge, refused to disarm himself, reiterating that he is a police officer.
That’s when he was asked to leave, Dupuis said.

A consequence of Gun Control being so tightly associated with the Left is that members will adopt the causes so indicated by Intelligentsia even when it will hurt them.

That a business or medical practice would deny service to Law Enforcement just because they can be assholes that way, is a momentous event for our side. It is not that LEOs are Anti Gun (not by far in most regular USA) but serves to show to Mr. and Mrs. Undecided the real amount of crazy & stupid bubbling over at the Opposition.

They need massive and coordinated media efforts to try to destroy our reputations but it only takes one single solitary event by an individual to bring a lot of it down among cops.

And some on our side should pay attention to this. Just because you can do something or feel that it should be that way does not mean it is the smart strategy to follow.

Fight Smarter, not Harder.

Bradley “Chelsea” Manning was featured in Vogue magazine for September.

Apparently praising third world totalitarian dictators is not enough for the Progressive Elite.  Convicted traitors whi caused the deaths of American soldiers need to be turned into swimsuit models.

In the Vogue interview, Manning addressed what he is going to do with his new found freedom and fame.

Manning does not know what her career will be. While living as Bradley Manning, she expressed an interest in running for political office. I ask whether that’s still on her mind. “I’m certainly not going to say no, and I’m certainly not going to say yes,” she says. 

Let me put this plain and clear.  If Manning runs for office and is elected, that will be shots fired at Fort Sumter.

People choosing to put a convicted and pardoned traitor in power is an unforgivable assault on America.

If that happens, I will not accept those who did that as my countrymen.  We are done.

And the Fanbois are not happy.
