They just can’t stop
Julianne Moore appeared on The View.
Of course she opens with condemnation of Harvey Weinstein.
Her statement is hollow and meaningless. She walked away from a show with Weinstein. Only AFTER his scandal became headline news.
That is the moral position of Brave Sir Robin.
“Oh shit, Weinstein has become toxic. His company is headed to bankruptcy. Run away!!!”
She totally supports his victims. Not enough of course to say anything BEFORE the scandal hit the news.
From what we have learned from this is that EVERYBODY knew about Weinstein. Everybody in Hollywood that is. As long as that stayed in Hollywood it was OK to work with him.
Moore worked with Weinstein on eight movies, of course she knew, but she only condemned him after us normals found out.
Less than two minutes into her interview (1:58 to be exact), The View faints hard left and deflects from actual genuflecting on Hollywood being a sewer or perversion, sexual misconduct, and pedophilia, to talk about gun control.
It’s not about gun control, “its a safety issue.” Part of Moore’s desire for gun safety is a limit on the number of guns a person can own, which sounds a lot like control to me.
Sure 47 guns in the Mandalay Bay hotel is a lot, but all he needed was one gun and a lot of magazines to do the same thing, cheaper. There is no evidence that he fired all 47 guns, not to mention that he didn’t have time to. So what is the point here? What does limiting the number of guns a person can own have to do with safety? Nothing. It’s about control.
Here’s the thing. I went to my safes, and I counted. I know people like her have a problem with guns, but they really love to focus on semi autos. It’s that whole “we’re not coming after your deer rifle” deflection they love to use.
I have fewer semi autos than Harvey Weinstein has sex assault accusers and fewer AR15s than Harvey Weinstein has rape victims.
So forgive me if my response to Ms. Julianne Moore is “just fuck off already.”
I am not about to listen to a member of Hollywood cesspool tell me about how many guns I’m allowed to own while mouthing pities of condemnation of a man whose employment contract allowed for sexual abuse, only after he was publicly outed.
I couldn’t care less about any of their opinions. They have no more moral high ground from which to argue.
If that didn’t piss you off enough, in prepping for this post I found one other gem from The View.
Way back in 2013, Corey Feldman was on The View talking to Barbra Walters. Feldman was a child actor who has been open about the culture of pedophilia in Hollywood. He tried to bring that up during his interview and Barbra Walters. Shut. Him. Down.
That’s really speaking truth to power there Babs.
What the’s first rule of Fight Club? You do not talk about Fight Club.
What’s the first rule of Hollywood? You do not talk about the perverts running the show, even if that means more children get molested.
These people do not have the right to tell me how to live my life ever again.
Fuck ’em.
