Not being a far left feminist magazine writer, I’d consider these firefighters, who risked their lives to save others, heroes.  To the writers at Babe.com, taking a picture of a dildo that you stuck in the snow, makes you a modern day hero.

I guess I prefer the classic definition than the modern one.

Now over to California.

Google has become infamous for it’s far left bias, to the point where it actively  discriminates against anybody who is not far left.  Apple is nearly as bad.

You would think that would buy Google and Apple some far Left credibility.

Nope.

Apple and Google run a shuttle service between San Francisco and their offices to provide low carbon footprint way for their employees to get to work.

The locals HATE THE SHUTTLES.  They are a sign of wealth and privilege.

Now the shuttles are being attacked on the highways.

Multiple shuttle buses carrying Apple and Google employees were hit by unknown objects in a targeted spree on Tuesday. California Highway Patrol is working with Apple to investigate.

Tech workers traveling to and from work on January 16 were startled when unknown objects — possible rocks or pellet guns, according to the CHP — struck their vehicles and broke windows. The incidents happened in both the morning and evening on both directions of Highway 280, between the cities of Woodside and Cupertino, where Apple is headquartered.

There are at least five reports of shuttle buses hit, with four buses carrying Apple employees and one bus carrying Google employees. No one was injured, the local Fox affiliate, KTVU reported.

It doesn’t matter how far left your politics are.  It doesn’t matter how much you censor conservatives.  If your employees make too much money, the rest of the far Left will hate you and attack you (and your employees) because that’s what politicizing envy does to people.

When a Google bus goes off the highway and into a ditch, I just hope a bunch of feminists with dildos show up to rescue them, because those are modern day heroes.

Of course Rear Admiral Ronnie Jackson,   Physician to the President, is lying.  Because TRUMP!!! 

It’s not that he could be a man of honor and Trump is actually healthy for a 71 year old man who can afford the best medical care money can buy. 

The media are going to destroy Admiral Jackson’s career because he gave Trump a clean bill of health.   I guarantee it.

Here is my prediction on the next Liberal/media talking point on this.  It will be something to the effect of:

“If he were a good doctor, why is he in the Navy?  If he really were competent he’d be making a lot of money in private practice.  He’d in the Navy because he’s not good enough to be a doctor anywhere else.”

Anybody want to take bets on this?

A couple months ago I wrote about a woman I had arrested for identity theft. She had stolen another woman’s identity and was attempting to buy a couple new cell phones using the victim’s account. That particular criminal suspect was wearing surgical scrubs and a fake name badge (bearing the victim’s name) identifying her as a home healthcare nurse.

The point of that post was to clue folks in that uniforms and name badges are cheap and easy to obtain. Always look past “the uniform.” Uniforms are very easy to fake. Things may not be what they seem.

Last night our officers got dispatched to a shoplifting call. Store security staff recognized a known professional shoplifter (called a “booster” in the criminal vernacular) filling up a grocery cart with an obscene amount of expensive steaks and Tide Pod laundry detergent. They knew he was about to sprint out the door without paying for the groceries.

The loss prevention officers provided a very distinctive description of the suspect. He was wearing a ball cap with the word “security” written on it. What would you assume if you saw a person dressed in normal citizen clothes (no uniform) wearing a “security” hat? Would you honestly think “shoplifter” if you saw that hat? I’m willing to bet that most of you (myself included) would assume that a security guard isn’t a thief.

That’s why criminals use fake uniforms and disguises. People automatically assume someone will act in a certain role when that person is wearing a particular uniform.

It’s a dangerous (but completely normal) “thin slicing” phenomenon created by the brain in order to process information faster. Unfortunately, making assumptions about a person’s character based on the uniform they are wearing can occasionally lead to negative outcomes.

Recognize that fake uniforms are a very real thing. Try to avoid making assumptions when you see someone who might be wearing one. As I wrote earlier, things aren’t always what they seem.

I want to add one thing: Trust your gut. Believe it or not, your subconscious may know if something in the uniform is amiss and will let you know. Might it be equipment, body language or the clothing itself,  bad guys will miss something specially if the uniform is complicated. BUT… it is not a sure thing that you will get that warning alarm. Just don’t lower your guard and be careful.
