I just saw in Twitter that the US Embassy was once again going to start issuing visas after a substantial suspension, and the people there has rejoiced. I have been remiss in pointing out that Venezuelans are fleeing the country because simply they cannot find food or medicines for themselves and their families. Those who were able to go somewhere with legal paperwork such as the US, Spain , Portugal or Italy have done so long ago and had to have some sort of legal connection with the host country, mostly via relatives.
The majority of Venezuelans do not have such connections and those countries are getting sour about getting more immigrants with a pot to piss on. Not being from the protected class (aloha snackbar) means they can be ignored, abused and told to go fuck themselves by the authorities and populace alike.) Some have returned to Venezuela because they could not cope with it, only to g=regret it immediately. Yes, they are kinda dumb.
Colombia, due to being neighbor, was the first country to receive a flood of “refugees” looking for food and a job. The welcome mat has already been worn off, specially when the Venezuelan criminal element has also migrated. Some have gone places north but mostly have migrated deep to South America and right now the country of choice is Chile who has a good economy and is still welcoming Venezuelans if for nothing for Venezuela being a safe refuge for many Chileans during the Pinochet regime. You will find plans and strategies being discussed in Social Media on how to get to Chile via bus. We are talking about a trip from Caracas to Santiago of 97 hour and 4,500 mile ordeal.
And in all the misery, all the suffering and all the planing to leave the homeland, take a guess which country is never discussed as a destination point to seek a better life:

I don’t know if you realize how upset Gun Owners have been for the last couple of sessions and how unlikely they are gonna vote to keep the status quo. My particular opinion is not to vote for either a Democrat or the Republicans since so many have been acting like Democrats anyway.
Time to figure out how to remove Sen Flores from her chair in the Judiciary and place somebody who will vote for Gun Rights.
I did a quick Google search for Oscar Braynon and Gun Control. I was not disappointed. First came this bill proposal from last session:
SB-170 Adding Prohibited Places for Weapons and Firearms – by Sen. Oscar Braynon (Democrat) – Prohibits Concealed Weapons and Firearms license holders from carrying firearms into any performing arts center or legitimate theater.
Oscar Braynon, a black Democrat who serves as Florida’s Senate minority leader and represents the Miami-area district where Trayvon Martin’s mother lives, said that the Republicans who serve alongside him aren’t interested in engaging with data that shows “stand your ground” too often protects whites who kill blacks.
“These people don’t understand our struggle,” he said. “Repealing ‘stand your ground’ is one of the top two issues in my district, well before cleaning up the environment or lowering taxes. I live in the reality laid out in the data, while some of these other lawmakers seem to live in a theoretical movie.”
Braynon added: “I’ve heard them argue that African-Americans are committing more crimes than anyone else. So the point of that statement is what? Maybe they need to be shot? That’s the type of thing I hear. They say you need to get control of your people.”
TALLAHASSEE A Democratic push for a special legislative session on guns didn’t come close to passing — falling 46 votes short of what was needed. But it did force candidates to declare where they stood on a gun control debate that has increasingly become one-sided, at least among members of the general public.
Now, can we get the President of the Senate Joe Negron to have Anitere Flores removed from her seat in the Judiciary and get somebody who will show some support for Florida Gun Owners? That is, of course if he does not want to be in the private sector come January 2019 alongside with a bunch of other Republicans in the Legislature.
