Hollywood Dickheads

When a celebrity is giving you their unsolicited political opinion, encouraging you to vote for the candidate or policy that they support, I think the very first question you should ask yourself is:

“Does this person rub cloned baby penis all over their face?

If the answer is “yes,” it is safe to ignore anything that they say about pretty much everything.

Making our point for us in Thousand Oaks

On Saturday, a woman was killed and a man was wounded in an attempted murder-suicide at The Oaks Shopping Center in Thousand Oaks, California.

Some idiot went to Twitter to mock concealed carry advocates for the lack of a good guy with a gun to prevent the shooting.

I guess Ms. Goldberg didn’t know that The Oaks Shopping Center is a Macerich managed property which prohibits firearms as part of their code of conduct.

Thousand Oaks is in Ventura County, California.  California is a may issue state and the Ventrua Country Sheriff’s Department requires good cause to issue permits.  According to local CCW forums, the Sheriff doesn’t issue permits, using the “good moral character” clause to deny people CCW.

So to answer Ms. Goldberg, the reason that the “responsible gun owners” who “have their guns for protection” didn’t stop the shooting is that they were not allowed to carry in the mall by cooperate policy and in the state by state law and county policy.

Just like in Parkland, responsible gun owners are being blamed for a shooting that is the fault of government failure.

A gun free zone sign didn’t stop a man intent on killing his ex-wife from bringing a gun into the mall, but did did stop her or any other responsible person from being armed to come to her defense.

The solution seems simple to me.  Make California shall issue and let Californians CCW in malls.

Parkland Shooter was supposed to be commited but was not.

MIAMI (AP) — Officials were so concerned about the mental stability of the student accused of last month’s Florida school massacre that they decided he should be forcibly committed.

But the recommendation was never acted upon.
A commitment under the law would have made it more difficult if not impossible for Cruz to obtain a gun legally.

Cruz is accused of the shooting rampage that killed 14 students and three school employees at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland on Feb. 14. In addition, 17 people were wounded.
But more than a year earlier, documents in the criminal case against Nikolas Cruz and obtained by The Associated Press show school officials and a sheriff’s deputy recommended in September 2016 that Cruz be involuntarily committed for a mental evaluation.

Some wanted Florida shooting suspect committed in 2016.

I am not surprised and I actually I was expecting this. But the next part opens more questions than gives answers.

The documents were provided by a psychological assessment service initiated by Cruz’s mother called Henderson Behavioral Health. The documents show a high school resource officer who was also a sheriff’s deputy and two school counselors recommended in September 2016 that Cruz be committed for mental evaluation under Florida’s Baker Act. That law allows for involuntary commitment for mental health examination for at least three days.

Why did the Deputy did not start the Baker Act Procedures?  LEOs can get it started if they see a suspect that can be a danger to himself or others. And if he wanted to commit Cruz via Baker Act, how come it did not happen? Was it laziness or orders not to upset the statistical apple cart with a bad entry?

More and more convincing evidence is coming out that this was a preventable event, something that does not happen often. And instead of going after those who failed on their duties and pass legislation that prohibits the doctoring of school crime and violence records, citizens in the Sunshine State got shafted by a weak-kneed GOP and a Governor who probably got advised by a former Jeb Bush electoral advisor that signing the legislation would make him the next U.S. Senator for the state of Florida.

Florida: Bump fire shooting in the coming days.

I want to go to the certain public range where certain Sheriff Office is always harassing shooters and just let one magazine rip off by bump fire. When the SWAT team finally arrives, manages to jump over the 300 deputies hiding behind their cars and asks me to surrender the evil device, this will be my answer.

This is my shocked face.

DENVER — No bump stocks have been turned over to Denver authorities after the city banned the accessories used in last year’s mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed 58 people and injured hundreds.

Denver Police police last month invited city residents to turn in any bump stocks in their possession but Denverite reports that none have been handed over.

No bump stocks turned in to Denver police after ban

C’mon, let’s face it: They were not that many to begin with and people are jst ignoring the crap out of the silly resolution.

Dear Denver City Council, you just were told to GFY
