MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) –
Two men were shot and killed while trying to burglarize a residence in the Colonial Acres neighborhood, according to Memphis Police Department.
The shooting happened Friday evening on Myrna Lane near the intersection of Willow Road.
Both of the men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The homeowner, who asked not to be identified for his safety, said when he arrived home, the men were already inside.
“I see my house being ransacked and the dog was still going hysterical in the cage,” he said. “When he saw me he notified the other individual that was with him, ‘hey, they are here.'”
That’s the moment he said when the suspected burglars pulled out guns, but he was able to get to a hall closet to get his.
“I had my own personal AK-47,” he said.

With all the hysteria against the AR-15, we have not paid attention to  AK-47’s running wild and unchecked.  These poor Wealth-Redistributors who make the effort to go door-to-door and help home owners give their property to third parties should not have to face a rain of bullets just because people own these weapons of wars.

Sarcasm apart, good for the home owner to keep his cool and use the best tool available to keep him safe. Home invasions are terrifying events that leave no space for niceties or second chances.

On April 20th of this year, former Forest High School student 19-year old life loser and certainly virgin Sky Bouche, shot a shotgun slug through a closed-door hitting a 17-year-old.

Also, the ample spaces and distances inside the school make the idea of a single emergency reaction individual a joke. The School Resource Officer had to start a room-by-room search assisted by unarmed  teachers/personnel and there were no more casualties because the asshole gave up and surrendered to what looks like computer class or something like that. And how the effing eff the shooter was still vertical in the classroom after he had unloaded shells and knife and not under a pile of student bodies securing his ass to the floor?

Basically, most Florida Scholl will remain easy targets for shooter because they will not face immediate armed resistance.

I now what I’m about to say will mean nothing to people with TDS, but I thought I’d weigh in on it.

I had kidney surgery in 2010.  What I had was a partial right nephrectomy.  I had a malignant neoplasm of the right kidney.  It was about the size of a large marble (18 mm).

Do you have any idea how much that fucking hurt?

No, no you do not.  Not at all.

I spent a week in the hospital.  I couldn’t move for three days.  I could barley walk for a week.  When they work on a kidney, they cut through most of the latimus muscle.  That is one of the ones that holds you up.

I spent two months in recovery.  I spent the first month mostly laying around in pain.

I moved in with my mom because she is a retired nurse and I needed at home nursing.  I had a drain in me for three weeks.  When I moved it flopped around and i could feel it inside me like someone was pulling on my kidney through my side.

I had to have my mom wipe my ass for three weeks until they removed the staples.  I was put on laxatives because without a intact muscles around your mid section you can’t shit.

So if the First Lady went through anything like what I did, my heart goes out to her because it sucks.  If she is doing nothing but lying around for the next three or four weeks, that’s normal.

If you are still not convinced that she’s behaving normally for someone who had kidney surgery, go donate a kidney.  You can do that while still alive.  There are people out there who need them.

Then go for a jog at the end of the week and tell me how you feel.

Anything short of that, please, shut the fuck up, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Trump Derangement Syndrome strikes again. First the outrage:

However, the data from the U.S. Census Bureau he cited covers only the period through 2016, and he gave no comparative figures for before and after Trump came into office in January 2017.

Trump has been so influential in government that he was making people poor with his policies under President Obama’s administration years before he became president.

What struck me was the “had to prove you were actually never law abiding.”

Try that with anything else.

I bought a new pickup truck.  I love it.  It has a 6.4L V8 under the hood.

The “Blue Wave” comes crashing down hard one America.  The Congress of the United States decides (with a super majority) that the average citizen doesn’t need a V8 or anything over 4L of engine to get to work.  You have to register your big block with the Federal government and get a special licence to prove your need, e.g. you own a business that tows or hauls something.

Call it an FEL (Federal Engine License).

If you have a boat or an RV, that’s not enough of a need, you have to pay an FEL to haul it for you.

The government will “buy back” your too powerful vehicle for $2,500.  That’s fair.

So now I have $49,000 in loans I have to pay back on a vehicle I no longer am allowed to own.  I can’t afford a new car payment.

What do I do?  Well, I only live two miles from work.  I risk it, I’ll keep driving my pickup.  I won’t have plates or insurance on it.  I’m pretty sure local Alabama PD won’t enforce the “big block ban” because most of the cops have their own pickups under a tarp a home.

Now Soda Can wants to come to my house and either kill me or die as a martyr trying to tow away my pickup, and in doing so will prove I was “actually never law abiding.”

No, I was law abiding when I bought the truck.  I was law abiding when I put plates on it first time.  I was law abiding when I drove it for months.

I was made into a criminal overnight.  Not because I did anything wrong or different than I did the day before, but because some legislators decided they wanted to me to be a criminal.

Besides, more pickup truck drivers voted for Trump than Hillary.

If you ideologically hate trucks or SUVs or gas guzzlers, this seems totally reasonable.  If you don’t, it becomes frightening.

The government can criminalize anything at anytime and you’ve gone from law abiding to felon by the swipe of a pen.

The Australians did this with their gun ban.  The British did it with guns, and now with knives.

If you fell asleep without watching the news in London, the Swiss Army Knife Classic on your keys that you legally took on the tube yesterday, today will put you in prison, and you had no idea.

This is weaponizing malum prohibitum as a political tool for oppression.

I am gonna revert to old IDPA holster rules as advice on how to determine if a holster is a good one: Place the UNLOADED gun inside the holster, turn it upside down and shake it hard. If the gun remains in the holster, you have a good one.

In Action Pistol competitions, it is very but very infrequent we see somebody dropping a gun. The shooter is not allowed to pick the gun up precisely for fear of what happen to the FBI agent could happen in the range. The shooter is under tension plus embarrassed and it is a natural reaction to go after the gun. If you drop a gun on your own, simply STOP! count slowly to ten and then slowly pick the gun up making sure your fingers go nowhere near the trigger. I would go as far as placing the gun on a safe surface and wait several minutes before holstering it or securing it. You have a couple of seconds to screw up and get an ND  or several minutes to go slow and safe with nobody getting hurt.
