In honor of #NationalComingOutDay

I decided to come out of the Gun Safe and proudly say I am Ammosexual!

Say it loud with a BANG! (Unless you have silencers, there is nothing wrong with it and will me more of a whump) )

The Church of Global Warming could not keep its mouth shut.

This is an article from The Guardian.

The author is a Dr. John Abraham who apparently specializes in thermal and fluid sciences and plies his trade at University of St. Thomas School of Engineering, Minnesota. The fella, like a good warrior of Global Warming, could not resist blaming the hurricane and its consequences on people disrespecting his Golden Calf.

I always am suspicious of those experts that cannot get the terminology right or say things just to look cool.

According to NOAA, you know, the people who actually do weather for a living:

Once a tropical cyclone reaches maximum sustained winds of 74 miles per hour or higher, it is then classified as a hurricane, typhoon, or tropical cyclone, depending upon where the storm originates in the world. In the North Atlantic, central North Pacific, and eastern North Pacific, the term hurricane is used. The same type of disturbance in the Northwest Pacific is called a typhoon.

But name aside, here is his take on why Hurricane Michael came to be so strong:

But basically, Michael strengthened because it passed over really warm waters. Waters that were hotter because of human-caused warming.

So, half a degree (as I have been told) in temperature rise creates these waters in the Gulf and the Caribbean which otherwise would be nice and cool and no hurricanes would come to exists or only very weak ones. It is the Global Warming caused by humans in the last 50 years that is at fault. Of course, you would need to ignore the long list of deadly hurricanes that include too many outside the era of Global warming.

But what I find hilarious is that The Guardian, a British Newspaper would publish this rubbish since it is thanks to those warm waters and the Gulf Current that the British Isles are not locked in a frozen Northern Sea six months (or more) out of the year.

PS: Why are the gulf waters warm? A combination of a shallow bottom and this huge heat emanating thing you can see in the sky: The Sun.

For God’s sakes, this is not a new revolutionary science discovery. Sun heats water and anything exposed to it. There is a reason why you can find sun-blocking lotions in stores.

Democrat Yellowjackets

If you life in the south, you know just how bad Yellowjackets can be.

Part of what makes Yellowjackets so dangerous is that they release an attack pheromone.  It is a chemical marker that drives all the other Yellowjackets in the hive into a stinging frenzy targeting whatever has the attack pheromone on it.

This pheromone is also released at the point when the Yellowjacket dies.  So if you step on a Yellowjacket, or hit one with your shoe, the pheromone is now on you and it will trigger the rest of the hive to go after you.

They are mean bastards.

This is what the Democratic party has become.

Post-Kavanaugh polling shows that the Republicans are way up in Red states with Blue Senators running for (re)elecction.  The GOP has gotten a huge boost in enthusiasm, while the Democrats have pretty much exhausted the amount of sustainable outrage they can get from the non crazies in their party.

The big picture puts Democrats and Republicans at pretty much a dead heat, the problem is that Republicans start to win elections when they poll as little a five behind.

This may lead to an incredibly rare event in which a sitting President’s party gains in the midterms.  For that to happen to the already “never going to be President” Trump is an unprecedented combination.

The November election isn’t hear yet, but there is a solid chance that the Republicans may actually gain seats in both the House and Senate.

That is the death knell for the Democrats.

Just like Yellowjackets, crushed Democrats are spewing an attack trigger.  They want to create a stinking frenzy in their party.

Here is Hillary Clinton saying that Democrats can’t be civil with Republicans.

Here is Presidential hopeful Eric Holder saying to kill them when they go low.

Oddly, he doesn’t define low, so where it seems that to most of America, backing false allegations of gang rape to destroy a man’s reputation is low, the Democrat definition of low is calling out this partisan bullshit.

Here is CNN’s Brooke Baldwin saying that the mob like attacks on Senators was not a “mob” and that even the word “mob” is a bad word.

Backing her up on that is CNN’s Don Lemon, defending mob behavior as not mob behavior.

The message here is clear.  As long as the Republicans continue to win according to the rules set forth in the Constitution Democrats cannot be civil, and instead must engage in the worst forms of intimidation and thuggish action.

What we saw recently in Portland was allowed because according to the radical Left city goverment, blocking traffic and threatening people with batons is a First Amendment right.

There seems to be no other take away from all of this that the Democrat leadership is giving the crazies of their side carte blanche to be a DNC Storm Detachment while the media will explain how these collegiate Jungsturm blocking traffic, beating people, and intimidating everyone are not really a mob.

If GOP takes the lead in November, don’t be surprised if we see Portland like action in every major city in America.

Why Europe is doomed? The Gucci Collection.

Years ago I read a warning in some journal about the levels of testosterone dropping in Europe. Holy shit, they were right!

This will be a fun one for SCOTUS

Motion passed Monday attempts to limit city funding ending up at the NRA
It’s time to call out the NRA for blocking gun control legislation

A Los Angeles City Council committee approved a motion Monday that would require all city contractors to disclose affiliations with the NRA.

Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell, the motion’s presenter, said that NRA lobbying has been one of the biggest roadblocks to gun safety legislation nationwide.

“With the increase in mass shootings in this country, more than 200 this year in 2018 so far, it’s really time to call them out for what they are responsible for,” said O’Ferrell in a statement to Annenberg Media.

So the City Council of America’s second largest city is now limiting contracts based upon ties to political groups that it doesn’t like.

While the motion passed Monday does not call for an outright ban on NRA-affiliated contractors, the language used indicates that such organizations will be unlikely to receive city business. A similar motion was passed last year requiring city contractors to disclose if they had placed bids on President Donald Trump’s border wall.

Or politics it doesn’t like.

Sam Paredes, executive director of Gun Owners of California, describes the proposed ordinance as legal discrimination on political grounds. “There’s no other justification for anything like this,” said Paredes. “Who or what a contractor supports has no bearing on the quality of work they do to provide a particular service.”

This goes right along with California limiting official travel after religious freedom or bathroom bills were passed.

I’m pretty sure these contract limitations are a violation of the First Amendment.  You know they are because you could just imagine the screaming that these people would be up to if a Red state were to deny contracts to businesses that support Planned Parenthood.

In March, Los Angeles passed a law requiring gun ranges and firearm sellers to post suicide-prevention information. As one of the original proponents of that law, Margot Bennett, executive director of Women Against Gun Violence, considers it a significant victory for gun-safety activism.

“We think that that legislation will end up going nationwide,” said Bennett. “Our organization has received a lot of calls from other gun-violence prevention organizations across the country asking for the language of the [suicide-prevention] ordinance.”

That from the largest city in America that has done more to legalize Marijuana than any other.  You can smoke your brain into oblivion without a warning label anywhere, but if you go to buy some plinking ammo, you are going to be bombarded with anti-gun messages.

The NRA-affiliation disclosure ordinance must pass the full Los Angeles City Council and be signed by the mayor before taking effect. Sam Paredes says that the political makeup of the L.A. City Council makes this likely. “It’s populated by arch anti-constitutional, anti-second amendment supporters, so I expect fully that it’s gonna pass,” said Paredes.

He’s not wrong.

This is the kind of case that I hope goes up to the Supreme Court.

These cities and states cannot be allowed to act as feudal lords, handing out contracts only to businesses and people that show fealty to their political persuasion.

It’s time that SCOTUS proceed to remind the Socialist Republic of California what freedom of speech and freedom of association really mean.

The right to shoot cows

The NRA downgraded Montana Democrat Senator Jon Tester’s rating to “D” because he voted against the confirmation of Justice* Kavanaugh.

* Boy-howdy do I like the feeling of typing out “Justice Kavanaugh.”

Not just does Kavanaugh increase the likelihood of more pro-gun SCOTUS decisions, it increases the likelihood of the Court hearing more gun related cases.  That will be the biggest boon for us yet.  Attempts at bringing an AWB or CCW case to the Court have been shot down, but since it only takes four Justices to agree to hear a case, we might start making headway again.

The NRA is well within its rights to equate a no vote on Kavanaugh to not being high on the pro-gun side and I hope that a lot of red state Senators take a shellacking in 2018 and 2020.  At this point I’d vote for a dead dog over Doug Jones in 2020 in Alabama.

How did Tester’s communications director take this news?

Stupidly.

I guess the Second Amendment in Tester’s copy of the Constitution says:

A well regulated farmer, being necessary for the production of beef and pork, the right of the farmer to shoot livestock will not be infringed.

This is even dumber than the typical I’m-a-Democrat-trying-to-appeal-to-sportsmen-in-the-Red-counties-of-my-state-by-going-on-a-bird-hunt-with-an-orange-vest-and-an-O/U photo op statement of “I’m not going to take your deer rifle/duck gun away.”

I can’t think of a worse “see I’m a gun guy” statement from a politician.

I hope the Republicans of Big Sky country mock him mercilessly for this.
