Burn baby burn

Twitchy has cataloged the Tweets of a number of celebrities who have lost homes in the Woolsey, California fire.

This Tweet by Alyssa Milano is particularity egregious.

This is no time for politics, because it’s her house that burned down.

When Florida was hit by a hurricane, those Trumps voters could suffer.

After all the times these celebs wished harm on me, called me a murder with blood on my hands, or a racist, bogoted, Nazi, all becuase I am a Republican gun owner and NRA member, all I can say is “fuck em.”  Why should I be empathetic to people who hate me so very much.

I’m glad their animals got out, I wish no harm on innocent creatures.

As for their mansions, I’d love nothing more than to roast marshmallows over the smoldering remains of Alyssa Milano’s house.

I have a better response

I watched Tucker’s show last night.  Tucker Carlson wasn’t hosting it, he was on vacation, but he was interviewed about the Antifa event at his house.

It was the kind of response that you’d expect from a talk show host.

Here’s mine:

To the members of Antifa.  You can gather outside my house and scream at my family.  Your words will not intimidate me.  If, however, you attempt to enter my home and harm my family, I will shoot you in your masked face with a shotgun.  Sticks and stone may break my bones but a 12 gauge will fuck your day up.”

I ain’t pussyfooting around with these assholes.  Let them know where they stand.

I sort of agree with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – Update

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the newest member of Congress from New York.  She was a bartender before running for Congress so she doesn’t have much in the way of personal finances set aside.  Now she is complaining about how unfair it is to be a member of Congress.

She explained that the transition period will be “very unusual, because I can’t really take a salary. I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress. So, how do I get an apartment? Those little things are very real.”

Ocasio-Cortez also told the Times that she had saved money before leaving her job at a restaurant and had planned accordingly with her partner.

“We’re kind of just dealing with the logistics of it day by day, but I’ve really been just kind of squirreling away and then hoping that gets me to January,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez explained on Twitter after the interview’s release that while everything with her housing is being figured out, her struggle with housing costs is one of “many little ways in which our electoral system isn’t even designed (nor prepared) for working-class people to lead.”

The problem here is that she hasn’t been able to start her grifting and insider trading yet.

She wants us to foot the bill for her to find a place to live in DC, until she starts collecting her $174,000 per year salary to espouse socialist horse shit from the House floor.

Like every socialist, she needs your money when she’s poor, but I guarantee it’s going to be “fuck you” when she’s rich.

But here I actually agree with her.  It must be difficult for a freshman member of Congress to start a career in Washington.  They shouldn’t have to worry about housing.

I propose the building of a dormitory for members of the House and Senate, and their immediate staff to live in.  It should be built to the same specifications as on base military dorm housing.  If it is good enough for our junior enlisted men, it is good enough for our Congressmen.

For Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, she should be forced to live in a dilapidated concrete box.  If she wants to bring Socialism to America, she should be forced to live in a Khrushchyovka.

Update:

Based on a comment to this post, I have an idea.

Organize a Kickstarter to put her up for the first three months in a long term suite in Trump International Hotel in DC.

Free housing in a Trump building vs. paying DC rent somewhere else. That is a Catch-22 that would make her head explode.

It has to be more than just coincidence

Has anybody noticed that in every 2018 election in which the Republican was called the winner that has gone to recount and/or extended count, gets flipped to the Democrat?

It’s like the underwear gnomes plan for elections.

Phase 1: Call for a count in a race favored by the media for a Democrat but won in an upset by the Republican.

Phase 2: ?

Phase 3: Previously uncounted Democrat votes turn the election.

Were just supposed to trust that Phase 2 is on the up-and-up.

It seems like the lesson that the Republicans took away from the 2000 Bush/Gore election was “we don’t ever want to go through that again.”

It seems like the lesson that the Democrats took away from the 2000 Bush/Gore election was “we need to learn to cheat harder if we ever go through that again.”

Right now I think Beto O’Rourke, Heidi Heitkamp, Claire McCaskill, and  Phil Bredesen are getting screwed.  They should call for recounts too.  I’m sure that Democrats in Texas, North Dakota, Missouri, and Tennessee can find a few hundred thousand more Democrat votes in boxes left in school cafeterias or in the backs of rental trucks.

If there is nothing to lose and everything to gain, why not demand a recount when you were beaten by a measly 6%?

We can afford surveillance cameras now. Buy them.

With the attack Tucker Carlson’s house, we know that the Left is not gonna settle after the Election as we imagined.  This is a new threat on top of the regular criminal element and it should convince you that it is time to get yourself some outside surveillance cameras.

The good news is that you can find great deals online in WiFi cameras that can be monitored in your Smart Phone, tablet or laptop/desktop.

A couple of weeks or so ago, I installed a couple of cameras and I am enjoying the results. This was a caller earlier today:

I heard the door knock and pulled the video feed up in my phone. I observed the gentleman for about 10 seconds, nothing called my attention and proceeded to answer the door in my cautious fashion.  Yes, outward opening door. I love it. Hard for bad guys to kick it in, you can’t be bum-rushed  and makes for fast closing.  And the answer to your other question is: Of course I was.

And this is the view form the back:

Now, my cams are not 1080p/4K capable of not only surveille but film the latest Hollywood production, but an honest 720P that as you can see are very damn good to see what might be lurking outside without having to step out of your home.

I will go for one of those new 2 way video and audio cameras/doorbell and place the front camera in another angle. Your only restriction with this type of camera is the location of a power source and that can be easily fixed.

Depending on the brand, you will have no free cloud access, or a limited  amount of time before the video is deleted. Prices vary with the company and the services you are getting.

Now, disabuse yourself of the idea that cameras avoid crime. If so, YouTube and LiveLeak would not exist. Surveillance is a tool to give you a warning and to collect evidence. Is one more layer of security between you and the bad guys, nothing else.

Rick Scott’s testicles finally dropped.

Just saw a quick press conference. He appeared pissed off and called (with numbers nd other data) what the election boards of Broward and Palm Beach are doing a FRAUD. He already ordered the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate violations of Florida Law committed by the people in those election boards.  This is not gonna sit well with Liberals but I guess he finally realized playing nicey-nice with the assholes leads nowhere but losing.

I so wish he reached puberty last Spring.
