Someday, in the (probably not too distant) future, the Democrats are going to make a legitimate stab at imposing Socialism.

When that is over, I believe that elections will be insufficient to right the Ship of State.

Those responsible should be tried, not unlike the Nazis at Nuremberg, for their attempted destruction of America.

I believe that this video clip, of Bernie Sanders sitting and scowling at the President of the Unites States saying “we are born free and we will stay free” will be Exhibit No. 1 in the trail against him.

So this happened.

And then comes the even worse news: The company was aware of the investigation and had been cooperating with authorities for quite a while.

This is why it is important to research the type of company you are going to work for, specially if you are going to be doing it in a criminal manner.  Firearms’ industries tend to attract the attention of the Feds and if you are illegal and working with fake papers, you may get in deep doodoo.

I am watching SOTUS in the comfort of YouTube and I am at the part where the President recognized the labor of ICE’s Special Agent Elvin Hernandez who with his team have rescued over 300 women brought illegally to the us for prostitution and slavery and the arrest of 1,500 traffickers. Just yesterday I posted about the official FBI NICS numbers for the year 2018 which turned out to be the second most prolific in the history of background checks and we get this load of BS from The Trace.

Let us remember what were the NICS checks for 2018:

Now, the only way I figure Mr. Yablon claims “Gun sales tumbled for the second year in a row.” is because 2016 is the owner of the running for NICS checks with 27,538,673 and gun sales did drop to 25,235,215 in 2017 which makes it the third highest number in history.

I have no idea where the researchers hired by The Trace got their gun transfer numbers, but sure as hell was not the FBI.  But are going to make the assumption that like with all Gun Control, the default position is to lie and manipulate those lies.

UPDATE: I Twitted Mr. Yablon asking him about the incongruity between his researchers and NICS. This was the response.

My take is that they are subtracting Concealed Weapons Permits and other background checks to the NICS numbers even though the article says “gun transfers” and not sales. And the FBI clearly states in the NICS page linked above:

“Statistics representing the number of firearms background checks initiated through the NICS from November 1998 to January 31, 2019.”
