I am not given to share personal stuff, but I have to “blame” her for keeping me occupied these last couple of days. Here’s mom. She is starting to show the results of a long and hard lived life and I am basically 24/7 at-home-caretaker. It is my duty.

I checked online and these are some things that were going on the year she was born in a little village in N.E. Spain.

-The Graf Zeppelin was flying.
-The first Purple Heart is awarded.
-The kidnapping of Charles Lindbergh’s son
-The Bonus Army
-The Nazis come to power in Germany via elections.
-The Soviet Famine begins.
-Babe Ruth called his shot.
-The Dust Bowl begins

Four years later, she got to endure the Spanish Civil War and its aftermath. She had to leave homes first in Spain, then Cuba and lastly Venezuela, but at least she is living her last years in peace in the United States.

I just got an email from the NRA & Marion Hammer regarding the testimony of Moms Demand Action’s Shannon Guse who testified in front of the House Criminal Justice Subcommittee that HB-403  would allow guns to be introduced in prison, courthouses, colleges and somehow sabotage the School Guardian program. The last one is interesting because they hate that program.

Ms. Shannon Guse, speaking on behalf of Moms Demand Action, made patently false statements in her testimony about HB-403.  But she didn’t get away with it.  Democrat Ranking Committee Member, Rep. Michael Grieco, called her out  in front of the Committee for her inaccurate testimony.

Rep. Michael Grieco told Shannon Guse, “I have concerns when there are statements made that are just blatantly inaccurate.”  He also said statements about guns going into jails and prisons are completely inaccurate… that’s not what’s happening ma’am.  I have worked with you folks for several years now, I’m with you, but when you come in here, you’ve got to be accurate.”

Rep. Grieco is a Democrat from Sunny Isles, one of those boutique coastal towns in Miami-Dade county where I think if you are registered Republican, you are not allowed to live there and they still have a chapel with a statue of Hillary surrounded by lit candles. Just kidding…maybe. Anyway, when you have a Liberal politician telling you went way over the line, it means you fucked up by the numbers.

I almost missed something she said in her droning introduction the Subcommittee but caught my attention, rewinded and I was a bit shocked she said what she did:  She said  “does Church” in many places with many people including with young adults in bars.  The jokes about Florida Cougars write themselves.

Marion Hammer was present and her well explained  position was that the law as it stands is the government kidnapping owners of private property their right to determine who they allow to come in and how to prepare the security of their private property. I admit I did not see that one coming and makes all the sense in the world. According to statements made by Rep. Donalds, Law Enforcement supports this bill ( It makes economic sense to liberate officers from posting in churches and patrol the streets if a church has its own armed security)

The bill was finally voted 12-1-1 favorable (12 in favor, one against, one did not show up for work)

And once again repeating myself;

If your cause is righteous, why lie?

How many times do we have to say it, the Left wants to take away your right to own guns, knives, and everything else dangerous because they know they can’t be trusted with them.

Police: Woman admitted to slashing tire over MAGA hat seen inside SUV

Police in Arizona said an 18-year-old woman admitted to slashing the tire of a random SUV because she saw one of President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hats inside, The Arizona Republic reported Wednesday.

Phoenix Police Department spokesman Sgt. Vincent Lewis said the woman admitted to slashing the tire “because she saw a hat with a political message inside the vehicle which she disagreed with.”

The car belonged to Nick Dugas, a retail security manager, who noticed something didn’t seem right after leaving the parking lot of Paradise Vally Mall.

Dugas told the newspaper that footage showed a car pull up next to his. Four women got out and two peered into his truck, where they reportedly spotted one of Trump’s signature red campaign hats resting on the console.

Approximately seven minutes later, the women returned and got back into their car before the driver and front passenger got out again, according to the newspaper.

The front passenger could be seen scanning the parking lot as the driver squatted next to Dugas’s truck.

Footage reportedly showed his SUV suddenly dropping on the left side before the women got back in their car and left.

What prompted the women to first look into his truck?

They left and came back, one stood look-out while another slashed his tires.

This wasn’t a heat of the moment, burst of anger, act of vandalism.

This was a deliberate, premeditated act carried out by four women.

The scary thing is just how easily this could have been an act of violence against Dugas and not just his truck.

The Hill, like most news agencies, launched this story on Twitter.

This next one is my favorite.  I captured the whole exchange.

Momus her identifies as a minority.  She has been so offended by Trump’s words that she thinks that committing acts of violence against the property of a trump supporter is justified.  She’s the victim so when people in MAGA hats are hurt, that is a good thing.

She is excited about this because she hopes it will frighten other Trump supporters into subduing themselves.

These people support anti-Trump political terrorism.  That’s what this is, just on the small scale.

Now that Pelosi has dropped the idea of impeaching Trump, as we go into 2020, I only see this getting worse.

Yesterday, Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan, was brought to the Capitol to testify on something or another.

What I saw of that was this clip of Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez asking Mr. Sloan some questions.  It was trending in YouTube so was one of my recommended videos.

She starts in on him about Wells Fargo financing private prison companies.

Did you catch that?

“Why was the bank involved in the caging of children and financing the caging of children to begin with?”

So it is her contention that the banks who loan a company money are liable for all the companies actions.

The she dives into holding the Wells Fargo accountable for the damage caused by the (very minor) spills from the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Faithful readers of this blog will remember from last year how the activist Left urged banks like Citigroup and other credit card issuing banks to use policy to destroy gun rights.  They argued that banks, as private companies, didn’t have to respect the Second Amendment and could kill the gun industry and gun sales by not financing gun companies, extending credit to gun manufacturers, wholesalers, or retailers, or allow their credit cards to be used for gun purchases.

This sort of fell off the radar quickly when Republicans pushed back against the banks.  If the banks were going to do an end run around the Constitution and effectively implement a gun ban by financial fiat, the banks would be cut off from hundreds of billions of dollars of government financial deals.

If the banks want to play politics with guns, the GOP will play politics with the banks.

Well, the Democrat Fresh Faces are in power now.

Using AOC’s logic, she establishing that the banks could be held liable for gun crime.

The banks are not protected by the The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act.

Since S&W can’t be sued out of existence for a shooting that used one of their guns, Wells Fargo can be sued for financing S&W who made the gun.

Wells Fargo then decides the the liability is not worth the cost, other banks follow, and soon there is nobody to finance the gun industry.

It’s not just guns that can be destroyed this way.  She can kill the car industry, airline industry, anything the Left doesn’t like by making it too risky for the banks to invest because of the liability attached.

When prodded about this on Twitter, she responded with the only bit of work experience she has.  bartending.

Actually, in NYC if you’re a bartender and knowingly over-serve to someone, you *ARE* liable for things they do after they leave the bar, because you knowingly put them at risk for $.

Somebody needs to tell the Congresswoman that DAPL doesn’t stand for “Daiquiri and Appletini Pipleline.”

That is not how Dram Shop laws work, but she is going to extend liability up as far as she can until the banks get scared to fiance anything the Left doesn’t like.

She is not stupid.  She is an ignorant ideologue.  Don’t confuse the two.  She is an authoritarian monster and is clever enough to figure out how to throw her weight around.
