Florida Concealed Weapons Permit: Where we stand with stats.

Now that I have my brain situated and learned how to read the graph, here is where we stand till the last day of February of 2019:

We are short some 28,000 ++ permits for the magical 2,000,000 CWPs in Florida. Maybe we finally cross the line sometime after July?

And still growing: Women with CWPs are now at 27%.

Ladies, like the meme says: “Gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket.” But still proud that over 530,000 women in the state of Florida made a choice to legally carry for their self-defense. Not a Blanche DuBois in this group.

Hate hoax by proxy

David Corn is the D.C. bureau chief of Mother Jones, and MSNBC analyst, and the author of an anti-Trump book about Russian collusion.

I guess the Congressional testimony of Michael Cohen saying that there was not Russian collusion was going to cut into Corn’s book sales, so he decided to get some attention Jussie Smollett style.

He Tweeted this:

Like the internet says: pics or it didn’t happen.

Also, why would someone put anti AOC graffiti in an airport in Phoenix?

Corn sat back to bask in the glory of his white knighting, when Sky Harbor reached out to him.

Look at the time stamp.

Almost eight hours later, he gave this half assed response.

And just like clockwork…

And no record of grafiti being cleaned up either, nor any other social media reports of it existing.

These people are getting lazier with their hate hoax reporting.

It’s just too bad that there isn’t going to be any ramifications for Corn pulling some shit like this.

The Democrats never fail to disappoint

Yesterday I said the Democrats would fail their moral test on the issue of taking a stand against Jew hatred.

Boy, they never fail to disappoint.

Not just did the Democrats fail their moral test, they failed spectacularly.

Of course.  You knew, just knew all the way down to your bones, that it would be the Progressive Caucus that was going to balk at any condemnation of antisemitism that wasn’t explicitly directed at a white Republican man.

Where unethical behavior is found in Washington, the Congressional Black Caucus is not far from the scene.  The CBC has had more ethics violations (and criminal convictions) than any other group in the House.  This is the caucus that had members repeatedly caught with their hands in the cookie jar but had the audacity to say that other Members of Congress sleeping in their offices to save money was an ethics violation.

But it get worse.

The whole point of the resolution was to condemn Ilhan Omar’s repeated antisemitic statements.

By leaving her name off the resolution and adding “Islamophobia” to it, it has given the CPC the ability to vote for it with a clear conscience.  They are not voting to condemn either one of their own OR antisemitism, just Islamophobia.

This also changes Omar (as well as Tlaib) from perpetrators of hate to the victims of it.

So the Democrats are watering this resolution down with whataboutism until it is a dilute pablum.

God damn every single one of these Democrats.

They can’t simply condemn vile and repeated Jew hatred when it comes from their own.

They have demonstrated to the world the value of their moral character and that value is equivalent to one Zimbabwean dollar covered in dog shit.

American Jews take note: this is the party the supposedly represents you.

The importance of a good holster

I saw this in the Miami Herald.

Man out for a morning walk shoots himself in the penis, Indiana police say

OWWWWW….

A 46-year-old man walking on an Indiana parkway reached for his 9mm pistol when it began to slip from his waistband — with unfortunate results, police wrote in a press release.

This is why a good holster is more than a fashion statement, it is a life saving (or at least dick saving) device.

The pistol fired, striking Mark Anthony Jones in the penis and scrotum, police in Marion, Indiana, wrote. The incident took place early Thursday morning.

He pulled off the hat trick.

Jones was carrying the Hi Point 9mm pistol in his waistband without a holster, police wrote. He reached down to adjust the gun, which had slipped, when it fired.

Officers interviewed him at a hospital emergency room, where he had gone for treatment at 6:44 a.m. Thursday, the release says.

Jones did not have an Indiana permit for the pistol, police wrote. His case has been referred to prosecutors for possible charges.

The news did not report if Mr. Jones has a criminal record, but a carry permit in Indiana is very easy to get.  I wonder why he didn’t have one.  I’m also a little curious why he wasn’t using a holster.  This seems a tad suspicious to me.

I tried to find our if Mr. Jones had a criminal record and found out this story has been reported as far away as The Independent in the UK.  The Independent sheds a little more light on the story.

Mr Jones later told the city’s police officers he had been taking a morning stroll near a Girl Scout cabin when a Hi-Point 9mm handgun he was carrying in his waistband “began to slip”.

Why was he taking a stroll near a Girl Scout cabin at 6:44 in the morning, carrying a pistol Mexican style?

That what should be a local Indiana story is being reported as far away as the UK is horribly embarrassing.  Now people around the world know that the guy who blew his dick and balls off was carrying a Hi-Point.

Broward School Board: Robert Runcie Stays!

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami/AP) – The Broward County’s School Board voted 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon to keep Robert Runcie as Broward’s schools chief.

The vast majority of the Broward community who spoke at Tuesday’s school board meeting was vocal, saying they want Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie to stay in his job.

Broward School Board Votes Not To Fire Superintendent Robert Runcie

Broward County School Board just flipped the finger to the Democrat Machine and decided to keep the albatross. The months ahead are going to be fun, remember there is still a Grand Jury that will be impaneled in Broward to investigate School Security and won’t be able to do hocus pocus and hide crime-in-school numbers.  And also that Debbie Wasserman is not the forgiving kind and getting off the reservation will be costly to the Board..

I am getting some pop corn.

Hawaii Senate hates Individual Rights.

The Hawaii Senate introduced a measure petitioning the US Congress to modify or repeal the Second Amendment so it is amended or removed.

But what called my attention was at the beginning of the measure:

“Individual Right theory”I can feel the dismissiveness and disgust of whomever wrote this for what we peons believe in. It is like “Fuck the little people, I don’t wanna see them unless I need to refill my Mai Tai.”

Mind you, the phrasing is on purpose: they are after all the rights, not just the Second Amendment. But the 2A does get in the way to annul the rest of the rights.  It is always hard to fill the boxcars going East when the passengers announce their refusal by volleys of projectiles

Remember the principle: If they hate the Second amendment, there is a good chance they are not fond of the rest of the Bill Of Rights.

Fake Outarge manufactured about a Florida CWP, caution.

Warning: I was passed a post by the “Gun Blog” that won’t be mentioned and which it states that Florida Ag Commissioner Nikki “Ganja” Fried are already sabotaging CWP holders and invalidating in at least one occasion.
The show “proof” alongside the content of the post. I found a couple of blatant mistakes that lead me to believe this is a hoax.

I am not saying that Miss Pothead is not trying or doing something, but this particular “incident” has me hearing more ringing than the Carol of The Bells.

If you happen to bump into it, cross check what’s in the post with what’s in the application form for Florida’s CWP.

Be careful. Don’t buy into the fake outrage. We have a real threat to CWP in Tallahassee with SB 1122
