This s**t with AOC is getting good

So earlier I said the Dems may have found a solution to the AOC problem.

A smart, or at least street smart, politician would start to lay low if they were about to be accused of criminality and corruption.

Not AOC, she seems to be powered by attention.

So… remember that all the way back in November, the first thing the AOC did as a Congresswoman-elect was state a Green protest in Nancy Pelosi’s office.

The Green New Deal that AOC came up with was a laughing stock.  It wanted to ban farting cows and airplanes and provide income for people who were “unwilling to work.”

Pelosi tried to punish AOC by keeping her off the House Climate Panel.

So fast forward to today.

Ilhan Omar has been a YUGE embarrassment for the old guard of the DNC.  The Democrats are uncomfortable being called racists instead of the ones doing the calling.

Chuck Schumer may be a piece of shit partisan hack, but he’s still Jewish, and I can’t believe stands with Omar on her pro BDS antisemitism.  Pelosi is like the crypt keeper with a mini stroke, but I also don’t think she’s totally bought into woke politics.  They seem to be dragged along by the more radical wing of the Democrats into a place they don’t want to go.

This Congress has been in session two months and they have had to have resolutions condemning antisemitism from Ilhan Omar twice.

How did AOC react?  She decided to back her Jew hating woke sister.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez laid into Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership after they condemned Ilhan Omar’s Israel comments

Of course she did.  AOC is obviously a woke Progressive Jew hater, that was evident when she did her embarrassing interview and mentioned the “Israeli occupation of Palestine” before saying she wasn’t a geopolitical expert.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Tuesday laid into Democrats and Republicans who’ve condemned freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar of making comments perceived by many as anti-Semitic.

Democratic leadership is expected to put a resolution opposing anti-Semitism up for a vote in the House this week, after Omar in a tweet over the weekend accused pro-Israel lawmakers of pushing “for allegiance to a foreign country.”

Ocasio-Cortez didn’t defend Omar’s comment but argued in a series of tweets that the fierce backlash the Minnesota Democrat is facing revealed a double standard in Congress’ response to different forms of bigotry.

She added that Omar, who is Muslim and a Somali-American immigrant, “has demonstrated a willingness to listen+work w/impacted communities” and shouldn’t be subjected to the “nuclear option” of a formal condemnation.

I have a feeling Pelosi didn’t want to bring the resolution against Omar in the first place, but Schumer made it clear that the Dems during a deaf ear to her antisemitism was going to cost the Democrats a lot of Jewish support.

Then AOC calls Pelosi out for it, prompting the question on social media “whose party is it?”

Now keep that in your mind while we visit this issue.

In a long Twitter thread, Phil Kerpen shows that the office associated with AOC’s Chief of Staff’s LLC is in a nondescript building in Tennessee, registered in a different state, and home to the campaign headquarters of a dozen different campaigns across the country.

Somewhere in that rundown brick building nearly a million dollars has disappeared.

This might be a good time to mention that she has a super luxurious apartment in DC and another in the Bronx.  Two of the highest cost of living cities in America.  Oh yeah, and her boyfriend is a 29 year old social media consultant.

It seems that the “yas queen” of clapback has nothing to say when asked about potential felonious behavior of her and her chief of staff.

Anybody who follows AOC online knows that her go to defense is that she is the victim of racism or sexism or both.

That that she went with the no comment approach here instead of lashing out about being the victim of something, something, Latina woman is telling.

Take part one and add part two and what do we have?

AOC has started a blood feud with Nancy Pelosi over the future of the Democrat party.  AOC is trying to wrest it away from Pelosi as a radical Progressive victory after only two months on the job.  Pelosi has been the Congresswoman from San Francisco since they found gold in the near by hills and has paid her dues to get to the top.

At the same time AOC and her sponsor/Chief of Staff may have done everything possible to keep the FEC from tracking their money so they could put their hands in the cookie jar.

AOC, the Democratic Socialist who fights for fairness and working people everywhere, getting caught pinching from the till would be another YUGE embarrassment for the Democrats.

I really believe that if Pelosi had any moisture left in her desiccated corpse of a body, she’d be slobbering at the opportunity to put AOC in her place and teach any young whippersnapper Progressive with an ego that you don’t come at the queen.

This is going to turn into a Shakespearean tragedy before it is over.

A year and 19 days late and 17 dead bodies short

It only took a school shooting, massive media coverage, a multi county investigation called for by the state legislature for them to realize that the Promise Program was a pile of shit.

In bureaucracy speed, that is flying.

305GUNS has moved.

They are my FFL so I am giving  Rick a plug just because 🙂

Hello Everyone.

We just wanted to let you know that we have moved our offices. We actually have more space in what is a bit more discreet of an environment – a good thing for firearms handling I think, and we are very happy with how the new space is working out.

It was a bit of an unplanned move so we did not have the time to process the address change request with ATF prior to the move. So we are on hold waiting for them to go through their processes and for DC to send it to FL for handling. Its a bit like starting over – they need to actually come do a visit and compliance check apparently.

So that means we cannot process any transfers or purchases for a while. Hopefully this will happen rather quickly (their form says a month) and come April we will be “back in business”.

Our new office is still inside our CPA firm, at:
5881 NW 151 Street, Suite 115
Miami Lakes, FL 33014

We are still in Miami Lakes, but over behind the original Police Station (as you are heading out of Miami Lakes towards 57th Avenue/Opa Lock Airport). Its a bit “hidden” but we are inside the right (eastern) building of the Corporate Courts of Miami Lakes complex. Our office is all the way to the back – the suite #s are not in order.  Its easy to come in the door at the back of the building as we are just inside to the right.

We can still teach our Concealed Weapons Classes – we just cannot do any sales that require a license to handle until the updated FFL is received.

I will notify everyone as soon as we are back into full operation. We appreciate your patience and understand as we work through the process. We do appreciate your business.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Rick Ewart

P.S. While you are likely aware, there are a number of gun control related bills being proposed in both the State and Federal Congress sessions. While we are hopeful that none will actually pass, we have already seen some Republicans (Mario Diaz-Balart) sell us out, resulting in passage of a bill in the Florida House that will do nothing but make the lives of law abiding citizens more difficult. So please stay up to date and voice your opposition to more gun control. The 2nd Amendment is what protects all the rest and be clear – its not about hunting – its about control of our lives and freedom. Just ask anyone who lives in Venezuela. What does dual loyalty mean anyway

Central to the Ilhan Omar issue is the antisemitic trope of dual loyalty.

Across the internet I have seen Jews, both Leftist and Conservative start sentences with “I’m a Jew but I don’t support Israel…”

I can only guess they are trying to distance themselves from accusations of dual loyalty.

I guess part of the issue I have is that, to me, the issue is not dual loyalty but a singular hidden loyalty.  The antisemitic idea being that Jews are not loyal to the countries in which they live, and are willing to undermine them for the sake of Israel.

The I read a description of dual loyalty that said it is the accusation that Jews are loyal to their countries of resident and to Israel or Judaism.

Now I am mad.

If that is the definition of dual loyalty, than fuck it, I have dual loyalty and so should most Jews.

I love the United States of America.  This is my home.  Five generations of my family have lived here, including my children.  My grandfather served honorably in WWII as an artillery forward observer in the European theater.  I, for a very brief period of swore to defend this nation and its Constitution with my life.

I am a loyal American.  At least I am now and hope to be for the rest of my life.

I am also loyal to the Jewish people.  My people.  People who share my culture, my blood, my heritage, and the same faith going back almost 6,000 years.

I do not believe that any part of being an America means that cannot take to heart the safety and security of my people, wherever in the world they may live.

I will not undermine the United States to that end, but at least for now, the United States has not given me a reason to.

What the current firebrands of the Democrat party want, is literally the mass murder of nearly half the world’s Jews.  They want the land that we have prayed for every Passover for a thousand years taken from us and wiped clean of its Jewish presence.

Hamas and the rest of the radical Islamic world has made it clear that what they want is no Jews “from the river to the sea.”

And I gather, I am expected as an American Jew, to stand idly by and say “well, if the majority party of the United States wants to see 5,000 years of my people’s history and 6.5 million of my people wiped out, well… majority rules.”

If I resist this or speak out against it, against the extermination of my people and the total destruction of our holy sites, I am just the embodiment of the antisemitic trope.

This is fucking horseshit.

If the Democrat party were to advocate for the Muslim refugees of Europe to utterly destroy the Holy See, would that make every American Catholic who tried to stop it also guilty of dual loyalty?

If being an American means I have to abandon my concern and support for my people in our ancestral home land – not the Israeli goverment but the Jewish people, as a people – than where do I sign to renounce my citizenship, because I cannot accept that my American patriotism requires me to do nothing in the face of the mass murder of Jews.

I never thought that I would have to chose between being an American or being a Jew.  America in modern times has supported the Jewish people and the Jewish people have supported and done great things for America.

Now the Democrats are wanting to make me choose.

That is a bad idea.  I believe in, and will never stop believing in, the Second Amendment, and I believe that woke, Jew hating, Progressives facilitating the mass murder of my people is a perfectly good justification for invoking Rule 308.

If symptoms last for more than four hours…

I saw two things on Twitter that have given me in incredible patriotic schadenboner.

First this:

https://twitter.com/dmartosko/status/1102676041645084674

Then this:

Oh my god.

If this keeps up any longer I’m going to have to watch a Nancy Pelosi C-Span speech just to calm down.

Runcie Hearing up and running. Live Updates

This guy actually hummed the theme of Mission Impossible as intro and went on to give his support for Runcie.

Watching myself and updating.

This guys is some black business leader. He used the word Negro and “substitute: cuss words. He was chided.

Several School Principals have appeared and they are supporting Runcie. This one compared Runcie with Julius Caesar while quotei8ng MLK. Race Card is heavily used.

It is interesting, I think I have seen 5 or 6 speakers and all are Pro-Runcie. Have they split the anti-Runcie speakers and for another time or simply ignore them?

Hey! Token!

This guy is some editor for a black publication. He started on the wrong path, got corrected and demanded a do-over for his allotted time. First guy to mention the NRA culpable.

And they brought the LGQBTKDXWRBM(,etc.) has come out for Runcie. It seems they were killing Gays in Broward Schools prior to Runcie. He hates Guns in Schools

And now we have the head Latino Principal association or something from DC. I should have made a Bingo Card.

Shit flips. Parent of one of the killed at Parkland lays the many failures of the Broward Schools. Call the rosy stats “fake news”

And anther Business giy, construction and has done work for Broward Schools. His testimony is basically an infomercial for what his company has done.

A preacher who went fully “Trump, Guns and NRA bad – Runcie Good.”

Former Chief of Police of Miami Gardens (Not the best badge you can show since the place is crime ridden) for Runcie.

The head of some Broward technical colleges. Another for Runcie because favors he did to the schools.

The lady represents the National Alliance of Black educators. For Runcie.

OK, a dozen people so far and 11 for Runcie. I am done, I have to fix mom her lunch as I know now Runcie walks on water.

The Democrats are going to make it clear where they stand on Jew hatred

Representatives Ilhan Omar, and to a lesser degree Rashida Tlaib are forcing the Democrat party and the Left in general to figure out where is stands on the Jewish Question.

From Buzzfeed News:

Israel Will Be The Great Foreign Policy Debate Of The Democratic Primary

Some of the Democratic Party’s brightest new stars believe Israel is a rogue state that should be treated like apartheid South Africa.

It’s the latest sign that, after 50 years, support for Israel is no longer a bipartisan cause — a dramatic change that will be felt in the wide-open Democratic presidential primary. The young progressives who have ascended to power within the Democratic Party over the last few years want to force what were once fringe views into the mainstream, and significantly change US policy toward Israel.

The Democratic Party’s progressive wing has long pushed for more criticism of Israel policy. Young people and people of color in particular feel a sense of solidarity with Palestinians, and argue that the progressive movement, if it is to be intersectional, must include Palestinian rights.

But the issue has remained a low public priority and one actively suppressed by party leaders as when, in one visible moment, the chair of the Democratic convention refused to recognize a voice vote against recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in 2012. Changing Democratic demographics and increasingly open Republican support for permanent Israeli occupation of the West Bank has increasingly shifted Americans’ views of Israel along partisan lines.

A Pew Research poll last year found just 27% of Democrats said they sympathized with Israel, down from 38% in 2001. (Republican sympathy has climbed from 50% to 79% in the same time frame.) And younger voters are dramatically less supportive than older voters, according to the 2018 poll — just 32% of adults age 18 to 29 said they sympathized with Israel more than the Palestinians, compared to 56% of voters aged 50 to 64 and voters over 65.

These are horrifying numbers.

No candidate who has announced, or who is expected to announce, their candidacy for the 2020 Democratic nomination has come out in support of BDS. But support from individuals like Tlaib and Omar is pushing the progressive groups that back them to take more aggressive stances on the issue than they might otherwise, a posture which could make it a litmus test in 2020 defining what it means to be a progressive Democrat.

So as the Democrats shift more and more to the hard Left, they more they support Palestinians over Israel.  They more they engage in irrational, antisemitic lines of attack, such as Israel as a apartheid state.

This is why among so many supporters of Omar, every antisemitic statement she makes is defended with “she’s not being antisemitic, she’s starting a dialog about just how much control the Jews have over the US government.”

USA Today reports on this issue in a similar way:

Will an increasingly progressive Democratic Party become steadily more anti-Semitic?

According to a Pew survey, in the dispute between the Israelis and Palestinians, only 27 percent of Democrats side with the Jewish state. Almost equal numbers of Democrats side with the Palestinians, and the subset of left-wing Democrats are pro-Palestinian by almost two to one. So it is not at all controversial for Omar to trash the American Israel Public Affairs Committee for its pro-Israel advocacy, especially among progressives.

The now trendy Democratic Socialists of America have even called for Israel to be eliminated.

Of course, you don’t have to be an anti-Semite to be anti-Zionist — but it helps. We saw this dog whistle becoming more audible during the recent liberal crackup over the Women’s March.

Progressives see Israel as an occupying power, an apartheid state, and fundamentally illegitimate. Furthermore, the concept of “intersectionality” forces them to put the Jewish state in the “bad” category. Activist Yonah Lieberman explains that all progressive issues necessarily tie together: “We don’t see a distinction between supporting Palestinian freedom and supporting a Green New Deal. We don’t see a distinction between believing that the occupation is a moral crisis and believing that health care is a human right.”

Practical politicians know that these issues have nothing to do with each other, but that kind of sensible thinking is abhorrent to the ideologically motivated progressives who are driving the Democratic Party to the far-left edge of sanity. Forcing the formerly moderate-liberal Democrats into the Procrustean bed of progressivism is not a winning model in a politically pragmatic country like the United States. In this sense, the fight over Israel mirrors the general conundrum faced by old-school liberal party leaders trying to explain the facts of political life to their unruly progressive progeny.

The USA Today article ends reiterating something I have been saying a lot.

Contrast the Democrats’ rising anti-Israel focus with the Republican Party’s embrace of the Jewish state. Pew survey data going back to 1978 show that the GOP has always been the more pro-Israel party, but lately Republican support has climbed to 79 percent, more than 50 points greater than Democrats.

Trump is probably the most pro-Israel president in American history, exemplified when he moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, something three previous presidents had cynically promised and then ducked. (Meanwhile, many Democrats booed Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on the floor of their 2012 nominating convention.)

And while most American Jews inexplicably continue to back even the most left-leaning Democratic candidates, President Trump has received overwhelming support from the more observant Orthodox Jewish community.

Rep. Omar said it was “exciting” that her views are forcing Democrats to finally “have conversations that we weren’t really willing to.” Indeed, Democrats should have an open, honest debate over whether their party is rapidly becoming an incubator for the kind of anti-Semitism that has infected the liberal parties of Europe.

Jewish Democrats who think this controversy is only about Israel could be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Progressives love a plucky underdog.  They love feeling like they are fighting for the little guy.  I’ve heard this described as Selma Envy.

In the Progressive canon, Jews are too rich, too white, to successful to be victims.  They don’t see Israel as the ancestral home of the Jews but a European colonial outpost.

So which “little guy” do the Progressives fight for?

Men like Hakim Awad, a man described by Palestinians as a “hero and legend.”

What did Hakim Awad do?

This:

This is Elad Fogel.  He was four years old when he, and his parents and two siblings were all murdered in their sleep by Hakim Awad.  He was four years old when he was stabbed in the heart three times by a full grown man.

His younger sister, Hadas Fogel was decapitated in her crib.

When Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib stands with an Palestinian activist who supports Hezbollah this is what she stands with.

When Congresswoman Ilhan Omar backs BDS, this is what she is backing.

It needs to be made perfectly clear, BDS is a terrorism backed campaign for Jewish genocide.

When Rashida Tlaib backs a One-State Solution, she is backing the mass murder of Israeli Jews.

The president of the Herlz Institute explains this more succinctly than I could.

Thousands of Jews fought and died to found and defend Israel as a Jewish state.  Thousands more put their lives on the line every day to continue to defend that state.  The idea of these people simply accepting the surrender of their nation and a total restructuring of the conditions under which they live, their very identity, by a UN declaration is absurd.  The only way a one state solution would be implementable would be the military defeat of Israel by an international coalition.

But the Democrats deflect from all of this by saying “no, she’s just talking about AIPAC.”

Pew Global conducted a study Islamic Extremism: Common Concern for Muslim and Western Publics.  This is what they found:

Nearly 100% of Middle Eastern Muslims had unfavorable feelings about Jews.

The ADL conducted a similar poll and found across the Middle East and North Africa, that 74% of people in general had unfavorable feelings about Jews.

It is reasonable to assume that if Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib represent their constituents, they have between a 74% and 100% chance of being Jew haters entirely from an ideological standpoint.

Fareed Zakaria wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post in which he said:

“I don’t know what is in the hearts of the two representatives,” Zakaria, who is Muslim, wrote about Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who has also made controversial statement about Israel. “But I believe that Muslims should be particularly thoughtful when speaking about these issues because anti-Semitism has spread through the Islamic world like a cancer.”

He blames Europe for the rise of antisemitism in the Middle East.  It is true that Mein Kampf is a best seller and The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is both a popular book and TV show in the Middle East.

Still, Muslims love to taunt Jews around the world with the chant “Jews remember Khaybar” which is a reference to the massacre of the Jews at the Khaybar oasis in Saudi Arabia by Muhammad.  That predates the rise of Hitler by only 1400 years.

This is, at the New York Post puts it “Here’s the anti-Semitism the media doesn’t want to mention.”  The Left in the United States does not, for reasons of intersectionality, want to address Islamic Jew hatred.  They give it a free pass, cover for it as “a discussion about AIPAC” or “lobbying money.”

The only antisemitism the Left seems to see is that coming from the fringe element of the white supremacist Right.

Yes, while one nut job killed eleven Jews at a Synagogue in Pittsburgh, which was universally condemned, one random nut job cannot commit genocide against half the world’s Jews.  Which is exactly the policy that Rashida Tlaib went to Congress to implement, and every Democrat that refuses to oppose BDS has co-signed.

So what are the Democrats doing about this?

They are passing a second resolution against antisemitism.

It’s a bullshit resolution.  It does not call her out by name.

Just to be clear, the resolution condemning Congressman Steve King’s vaguely white supremacist statement called him out by name,

This lack of specifying Congresswoman Omar by name means that the Democrats, including Omar herself, can vote for the resolution then continue to say horrible antisemitic things under the context of “a discussion about AIPAC or lobbyist money” because the only thing they consider to be antisemitic is alt-Right and white supremacist antisemitism.

The woke, Progressive Left is going to fail the moral test as it goes through the exercise of this resolution.

They defined racism as “power plus privilege” and clearly when they believe the Jews are both disproportionately privileged and powerful, undermining them is not a form of racism.

The have become the party that supports and defends anti-Israeli and anti-American terrorists.

This is the future of the Democrat party, unadulterated antisemitism with a veneer of intersectional concern.

I’ve said this before, but I will let USA Today say it again:

Jewish Democrats who think this controversy is only about Israel could be in for an unpleasant surprise.

There is no future for the Jews in the Democrat party.
