An idea so crazy it just won’t work

I was prepping another post when I saw this brilliant analysis by someone who totally doesn’t understand the Constitution.

So let me see if I get this right, the Federal Government will have a hard time banning gun ownership, so what they should do is ban gun makers.

I can see how at first glance, to a stupid person, that might almost seem smart.

It’s like saying “We can’t control free speech, so were just going to shut down every for profit website, news agency, talk radio channel, and magazine that publishes an opinion we don’t want using the commerce clause.  People still have the freedom to say what they want, they just can’t disseminate it.” And thinking that will pass Constitutional muster.

Keep in mind that every time a state has tried to crack down on abortion (which is not a Constitutional right, mind you) by putting restrictions on abortion clinics that force them to close, the Left throws a shit fit in the courts.

These people are not deep thinkers.

“But my legislator is a Democrat/RINO who always votes against guns.”

I am so tired of listening to that shallow excuse not to write one miserable email or make a toll-free phone call, it gives me ulcers.

I do not give three reheated bean shits if your State Representative or Senator are Jim and Sarah Brady brought back to life and elected to the chair: You write them and let them know your dislike to any particular bill you are against or Gun Control in general.

You need to make noise. You need to make the Opposition understand that there are a lot of people against a bill (or fucking 22 bills) right now in the Florida legislature.  Make them understand that contrary to what Moms Demand says, there is no 90% of Floridians in favor of Universal Background Checks or a weapons ban. The may vote that way, but maybe they won’t oppose with confidence or even suddenly develop the runs when it comes voting time.

But when you do not contact tour Legislators because  “it is a waste of 120 seconds of my life better served farting and scratching my privates” then you are helping our common enemy. Your Anti Gun Legislator will say TRUTHFULLY “I have received almost no complains about this bill and I will thrown my full support with the tens of thousands of Floridians that want Gun Safety in our streets and schools and had told me they want this bill.”

And you helped with that load of bullshit because your could not compromise your manicure by pushing typing or dialing.

We are playing for keeps. Move your ass.

Hickenlooper 2020

I’m going to double down on everything that Miguel has been saying.

For a period of time gun control was the third rail of American politics.

The Left has won too many victories in their blue bubbles with too little push back and now they have been emboldened to believe that they can de-gun the rest of the nation.

The Governor who drove Magpul out of of Colorado is running for President and he takes a victory lap on gun control is his announcement video.

This, right here.

No, he didn’t beat the NRA.  He stripped gun rights from every single Coloradoan.

He didn’t just ban buying high capacity magazines from NRA members, he banned buying them throughout the state.

This is how these politicians always frame passing gun control, like it is a victory over the NRA.

It’s not a victory over the NRA, it is an assault on the Constitutional protections guaranteed in the Bill of Rights.

You can not support the NRA for whatever reasons you want, but that isn’t going to stop you from losing your gun rights.

That’s not going to exempt you from an assault weapon ban, magazine capacity ban, permit to own, or whatever else they can dream up to infringe on your rights and wipe out gun culture.

If we don’t fight for our rights we will lose them and they will take enormous pride in stamping the boot of goverment in our faces because they believe in it.

If you value gun rights, NRA member or not, get engaged.  Do something.

We must hang together on this or those bastards will make us all hang separately.

When you are willing to climb voluntarily in the boxcar going East.

Which makes totally sense when you rad stuff like this:

Jerusalem Post
The Islamic Republic of Iran publicly hanged a 31-year-old Iranian man after he was found guilty of charges related to violations of Iran’s anti-gay laws, according to the state-controlled Iranian Students’ News Agency.

The unidentified man was hanged on January 10 in the southwestern city of Kazeroon based on criminal violations of “lavat-e be onf” – sexual intercourse between two men, as well as kidnapping charges, according to ISNA. Iran’s radical sharia law system prescribes the death penalty for gay sex

Iran publicly hangs man on homosexuality charges

When you are so fucking stupid and affected by political derangement that you will reject the help of the President of the United States to stop the abuses and killings directed to your fellow gays, you are well deserving of whatever violent faith awaits you. And this is a guy living in the Caliphate of Britannia to  make it worse because if I remember, certain “Asians” have a proclivity to go out and hack people they don’t like to pieces.

Oh well, he shall make another entry on the “Gun Control Fails of England, Wales and neighboring lands. Schadenfreude Alert.”

Quietly Armed – Get Your Act Together, Florida

It’s happening because the gun rights movement in Florida is a fractured mess.

Get Your Act Together, Florida

He is kinder with Gun Rights Organization, but still in track.

The flag is a nice reminder of previous successful instructions.

IN MEMORIAM: Gun Rights in Florida.

Twenty-Two

That is the number of Gun Control bills for consideration in the Florida Legislature as of this morning.

One

That is the number of Pro-Gun bills in the same place.

22 to 1

What the hell has happened? Why is everybody so silent? I have not heard a peep of concern.

Where are the Florida Gun Groups? Where are the Warriors Of the Chest-Thumping Brigade?  The No-Compromise Battalion? Where is it?

As far as I can tell, we have no presence in Tallahassee or anything is being done to exert political pressure on out legislators.

Three states so far this year have gone or will go Constitutional Carry: South Dakota, Oklahoma and Kentucky. We are about to reduce the length of our Concealed Weapons Permit to 4 years rather than the seven years we are accustomed to plus now we need to pass a 50 round qualifier. Where is your outrage now?

We have attempts against Stand Your Ground,  Banning of “assault weapons” and High Cap Mags plus Registration of those already in existence. yet I have not hears a peep from the Fake Molon Labe crowd. I don’t know, maybe they are in Home Depot buying PVC pipe and digging holes in their backyards.

And it is not only the individuals, but our State Groups. Are we done fishing for mackerel while Open Carry an AR 15? Tanning with an uncovered Glock while trying to catch tarpon? Are we done posing for YouTube videos that solve nothing? For flock’s sake, the websites look like a kid just discovered GeoCities! The 1990s called and they what their HTML 1 back! Invest some of that money that was donated and hire somebody to improve the looks. Optics are important and you guys are looking unimportant and small. The only thing that could make it worse is having a Hotmail address. My effing blog looks more professional and I am actually tracking bills every day and informing you. I should be doing a post a week asking for contributions since I seem to be providing better content than our State Gun Right Organizations. Do you have $20, $50 or $1,000 to spare? I’ll accept it, I don’t mind being remunerated for my work of over a decade.

So far my prediction is that by 2020, we will be well on our way to be the California of the East Coast.

Prove me wrong.

Howard Schultz is another reason to by guns

I wrote a little about the reaction Howard Schultz’s announcement that he was running for President as an independent.

I don’t want Schultz to be President, I want to make that clear.  The social policy he put in place at Starbucks, like their #RaceTogether campaign was awful.  I don’t want a President who believes it is his job to affect social change my making everybody woke.

In no way is Howard Schultz a conservative, it’s just that his economic policy is right out of the late 1990’s Bill Clinton administration, talking about things like balanced budges.

What I like about Schultz is that he is really getting the Left reveal its own insanity.

It’s one thing for the Left to rant and rave about a Republican or Donald Trump, they are on the other side of the aisle, but Schultz is, for the most part, one of them.  He is woke in matters of race and intersectionality.  Starbucks has been at the forefront of socially conscience corporatism.

But because Schultz is taking a realistic approach to the economy, they hate him even more.

On Saturday, Howard Schultz decided to Tweet out a condemnation of socialism and the Lefty attack on capitalism.  He even tried to do it in a centrist, and balanced way.

Boy howdy did the Left go nuts and in doing so, prove his point.

That is a lot of angry people treatining to take Howard Schultz’s money, and for no other reason that they just don’t like him.

It is clear that they see taxation and socialism in general as a way to punish and hurt those they disagree with.

It’s not about helping people, it is about believing they are victims of the rich and socialism is the ideology of economic vengeance.

First they will hurt Schultz, then they will hurt everyone who has less than him but more than them.

This last Tweet reply was by far the worst of the ones I saw.

Yes, they are right, we are right to fear them.

The lesson of this is self evident, they want to come at us with black masks and clubs.  They don’t want to just tax us, they want to physically hurt us.

The know the only way to implement their ideas is by force.

The proper response to this is … guns.

These people are why we have the Second Amendment.
