HB 6001 – Licenses to Carry Concealed Weapons or Firearms. Removes provision prohibiting concealed carry licensees from openly carrying handgun or carrying concealed weapon or firearm into college or university facility.

No problem with this one.

SB 134: Preemption of Firearms and Ammunition.  Completely repealing SB 790.33. This is one of the crown jewels for Gun Control. If they get to eliminate it, local governments can pass any regulation they see fit and we could say good bye to at least Concealed Carry in Florida because nobody would risk trying to memorize the flood of local prohibitions that will surely pop up.  It also can be used to ban possession in your own home or at least get you punished if cops or any other government entity are called for whatever silly reason, they happen to see you with a firearm and you happen to live within 1,000 feet from a school, a favorite among Gun Controllers.  Ft Lauderdale decided to forbid the carrying of any firearm in vehicles and you get pulled over for running a stop sign. Your CWP will be worth spit. You going to the pokey, Jose.

What happened?

A correctional officer drove a pickup truck into a group of Jewish peaceful demonstrators protesting outside the Wyatt Detention Center in Rhode Island on Wednesday night.

This is Newsweek, so I’m going to take “peaceful demonstrators” with a grain of salt.

Hundreds of Jewish protesters, mostly members of Never Again Action, an activist group against the mistreatment of detained undocumented immigrants, gathered outside the Donald W. Wyatt Detention facility in Central Falls on Wednesday evening. The protesters stood blocking the entrance of the facility, linking arms while chanting for the abolition of ICE and the end to America’s harsh immigration policies.

Oh, so they were blocking the road.

At around 10 p.m. local time, a dark-colored pickup truck drove slowly up to a group of roughly 40-50 protesters blocking the entrance to the location’s parking lot, before driving straight through the crowd, according to a video uploaded to Twitter.

So they surrounded the front of the truck and started hitting it.

Yeah, fuck ’em.  I would have driven through them too.

Then they got pepper sprayed.

Detaining people who enter this country illegally is not genocide.  It’s not a slippery slope to genocide.

These Jews can scream “release the kids” and “release the parents” but they fail to address that there is factual evidence that some of these adults are buying or renting kids that they can use as a “get out of jail free” card when they get detained by ICE.

These Jews are actually supporting human trafficking.

This is objectively not true.

Anne Frank was hiding from a gas chamber.  Not one person detained by ICE has been gassed or shot in the back of the head or pushed into a crematorium.

Anne Frank, and all the Jews of Germany were targeted because the Germans considered Jews to be Untermensch (subhuman).  ICE is not targeting every one of Hispanic heritage simple because they are Hispanic.  They are targeting people who entered the United States in violation of US law.

These Jews can share photographs of over crowed ICE facilities juxtaposed to Nazi death camp photographs, but show me one illegal immigrant who has been starved and worked until he is skin and bones.

The Holocaust was a strategically planned program to eradicate all the Jews of Europe, many who trace their lineage in Europe to the Diaspora in the early Middle Ages, around 5 CE.

What we have here is an inundated system in which we are trying to handle tens of thousands of people per month who cross our border in violation of our laws, many of who are demanding asylum without cause.

The position taken by these people is that anything short of unfettered open borders is tantamount to the Holocaust, which is both an insult to the Holocaust and a grossly insane position.

I look at rise of people like Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, and the way the Left has embraced antisemitism, and I worry that soon there will be major undertaking against the Jews of the United States.

I am coming to the conclusion that we may not survive whatever that is because Jews like this have turned “Never Again” from a warning about Genocide into a phrase that protects illegal immigrants who rape an 11-year-old girl or drive drunk and kill a father of five from being deported.

Understand that this is a long term plan.

As a history buff, I love the story of Radio Free Europe.  We destabilized Eastern Europe by saturating them with pro-Western entertainment.

I want to do something similar with China.

But instead of pro-Western entertainment, we saturate them with Critical Gender Studies and Social Justice.

We won’t have to worry about them taking over the world if they are too busy trying to list their preferred pronouns in every dialect in the country.

I stole this video from EDR DEFENSE GROUP LLC. We can see (or guess) several low cost safety implementations that help give you a chance of mounting a proper counter offensive while waiting for the police to arrive.

The screen door was no match for the bad guys (open under 20 seconds), but I added a layer of time delay and specially noise. I believe the main door was metal or very solid wood, with good long bolts and strike plates with long screws deeply driven in the frame. It made what it was supposed to be an instant breaking and entering into a long hard job.

And the camera. What a beautiful thing is to know what is making all that racket on the other side of the door and specially how many.  At around 00:25 you can faintly hear somebody inside the house, possibly making a verbal inquiry and the bad guys immediately went with “Police!” or rather the slang-ish “Pooolice” which kind of defeat the purpose since cops do not talk that way.

Unfortunately that is all the video there is plus no story found that would tell us what happened and how long it took. Also, the fact that seven crooks wanted to break into  home is the best possible example of why you actually need magazines with as many rounds as you can handle. It goes without saying that if the crooks managed to finally get in, there were baptized in the Church  of Armalite or the Church of Avtomat.

Check Youtube for videos on how to reinforce your door. There are simply stuff that is worth pennies like 3 inch nails to not expensive plates for the door and door frame.  As for security cameras? take you pick, there is a flood of new and affordable stuff in the market. I have been thinking about adding another camera up front in case the bd guys decide to cover my door bell cam. I want live tracking!

I do have one doubt that I may send over Andrew Branca for examination (If he has not covered it already and I missed it). Doing a Joe Biden and shooting blindly through the door is legally very risky, but how about this case when we have seven individuals at what looks the wee hours of the night pretending to be cops trying to break in and you have them live ans in color on camera?

I have written several posts about what I call the gun maker blood libel.

That is the talking point the Democrats use that the firearms industry fights against gun control because it is at best indifferent to and at worst supportive of mass shootings and the deaths of children, simply because they want money.

Usually, this is put as “profits over lives” or something similar.

There are many reasons this dehumanizing language is ugly, but I am now growing more concerned with it.

We have seen members of the NYPD harassed, with water and food thrown on them while trying to do their jobs.

During yesterday’s Philadelphia gunfight, some people were harassing the cops while they were trying to capture the suspect that shot six officers.

I mentioned this at 10 and since I was harassed during that live shot, I’ll mention it here too. A major moment of disappointment this evening was watching a crowd of people taunt police officers, laughing and yelling at them in the midst of the gunfire. #PhiladelphiaShooting

Last month, a man associated with Antifa tried to firebomb an ICE center in Tacoma, Washington.

On Tuesday, there was a politically motivated shooting at an ICE office in San Antonio, Texas.

Then there were death threats leveled against the San Antonio donors to Donald Trump, publicized by Congressman Joaquin Castro on Twitter.

With the gun maker blood libel, what is next?

Are we going to start seeing harassment and perhaps even violence directed at gun maker or gun store employees?

I can picture that, especially if any gun ban legislation fails to make it through the Senate when they reconvene.
