It’s always the fault of the JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS – Mecca Coronavirus edition

If you were not aware, the Saudi Government took the incredible step of closing prayers at the Grand Mosque in Mecca because of the Coronavirus.

This is how Yemeni Muslims reacted:

The Saudi royal family?  Jews.

Closing Mecca to stop the spread of Coronavirus?  Jews.

The Coronavirus?  A Jewish plot.

These people know one thing and one thing only.  Anti-Semitism.

If you want to know why the Middle East is the way that it is, this is why.  You have countries that have the resource curse populated by people whose heads are filled with nothing but obsessive Jew-hatred.

No wonder they are such shitholes.

CNN: Fake News and Presidential Piñata

I watched the President Trump, Coronavirus Task Force hold press briefing yesterday and the news are scary but at the same time somewhat hopefull. You have to give it to the President, he does inject a good dose of “We can do this” to the conversation. He knows that id fatalism takes over, we are crewed seven ways from Sunday.

You can watch the whole thing, but I want to direct you to what I call the CNN Massacre. He had already had to deal with two journos, so he was primed and the CNN guy took the brunt for not realizing it. It was like a Big Leaguer take a Louisville Slugger and beat a Mexican piñata to death

The CNN massacre starts at 1:07:45 in case the video below did not cue.

That is gonna leave a mark.

Cincinnati PD will not respond to Assault calls unless blood has been spilled.

Reader Paul K. sent us this:

CINCINNATI — Starting March 24 at 8 a.m., Cincinnati Police will not respond in-person to calls for assaults without injuries, break-ins, criminal damaging and more.

Cincinnati police announced Monday that these calls will be referred for online or phone reporting:

  • Assault reports where there is no medical attention necessary and suspect is no longer present
  • Breaking and entering reports where there are no suspect(s) or possibility of property recovery
  • Criminal damaging reports
  • Dog bites
  • Lost property
  • Lost or stolen license plates
  • Menacing reports, unless a suspect is expected, threatens to return or is part of the elements of domestic violence
  • Phone harassment
  • Property damage

Starting Tuesday, Cincinnati PD won’t respond in-person for these calls

This is a dangerous. Either people are not going to bother to call and a bad player is going to be roaming around free, or people will demand medical attention even when they don’t need it just to force the cops to show up.

Oh well… At least the river is not on fire.

Remington Arms offers to help New York State. Apparently they are not doing much.

Gunmaker Remington Arms has stepped up to help coronavirus epicenter New York combat the contagion. Remington CEO Ken D’Arcy offered to manufacture ventilators, medical masks, and hospital beds to help the disease-infested state.

D’Arcy made the offer in a letter to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and President Donald Trump, where he also agreed to provide “approximately one million square feet of unused and available manufacturing space” at Remington’s plant in Ilion, New York.

Gunmaker Remington Arms steps up to help disease-ravaged New York

We are historically in the biggest gun sale in the United States. All manufacturers are pumping product as fast as they can and month-long delay for shipments are the new norm. So how come Remington Arms has “approximately one million square feet of unused and available manufacturing space”?

Because according to the grapevine that seems to be very healthy, Remington is being dissembled for the inside and on its way to disappear.

We have a reader that is involved with Remington and sent me an email about this. Here is what he had to say.

I saw this.  Darcy is the guy that shut down Bushmaster, Remington Defense, and AAC.  He hates black rifles and tactical stuff. He killed the RM380 because he’s anti concealed carry.  He’s allowed the 1911 only because the R1 is the best selling budget 1911 in stores and it makes a lot of money but he would have ended handgun production if he could.

He’s a Canadian Fudd hand picked by the anti gun bankers at BOA.
He’d love nothing more than to stop gun production during a buying boom just to tank the company.

I guarantee Remington is losing money right now with him at the helm, even as guns and ammo fly off the shelves.

He [Darcy] got his dream of a plausible reason to stop a gun company from making guns during a gun buying boom.

You take it for what is worth.

NYC Fuhrer De Blaso threatens NYC Synagogues

Mayor Bill de Blasio is Jew-hater.  That has been evident for a long time to anybody who knew his past.  He was a supporter of the Sandinistas and he knew about their vicious anti-Semitism.  He ignored attacks on Jews in New York City, despite numerous reports, and deflecting by blaming Trump even though the assailants were almost universally black and Hispanic young men, not white supremacists.

This time around, his anti-Semitism has gone from the passive to the active.  The Coronavirus being his excuse make NYC practicing Jew Judenfrei,

NYC Mayor to synagogues: Close for coronavirus or be shut down permanently

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio warned the Jewish community that synagogues that continue to defy coronavirus regulations and hold services will be permanently shut down.

While the majority of synagogues have closed in accordance with city orders aimed at slowing the spread of coronavirus by limiting social gathering, others have stayed open.

Some synagogues, however, are still holding minyanim, gatherings of 10 worshipers or more, to hold prayer services.

This has been tough for the Jewish community.  Certain prayers in Judaism require a quorum of ten adult Jews called a minyan, traditionally a minyan is all men, but less orthodox secs allow women to be counted in a minyan.  This is the real significance of the Bar Mitzvah.  Once a Jewish child has been Bar or Bat Mitzvahed, they are allowed to be counted in a minyan.

In order to read from the Torah, you have to say a prayer called the Barechu, which requires a minyan.  So does the mourners Kaddish and the Amidah.

Without a minyan, Jews, especially Orthodox Jews, cannot say daily prayers, pray for the dead, or read out of the Torah.

There was a great TV show back in the day that I loved called Northern Exposure.  One of the main characters was a young Jewish doctor from New York who was contractually obligated to run a medical clinic in a small town in Alaska to repay the state of Alaska for paying for his medical school.  The frame of the show was this doctor’s fish out of water experience in rural Alaska.  In one episode, someone close to him dies and he has to find ten Jews in Alaska to have a minyan to say the Kaddish, and the local Alaskan Jews were very different than the New York Jews he was used to.

A minyan is very important.

Reform Judaism has allowed a temporary virtual minyan to be done during the Coronacrisis using group telecommuting software like Zoom.  Our Synagogue has been doing live virtual Shabbat services on Friday nights.

This cannot be done for the Orthodox who cannot even use electricity during the sabbath.

“I want to say to all those who are preparing for the potential of religious services this weekend: If you go to your synagogue, if you go to your church, and attempt to hold services after having been told so often not to, our enforcement agents will have no choice but to shut down those services,” he warned, however admitting that he does not “say this with joy.”

The mayor called on religious citizens, asking that anyone who witnesses services taking place to report to the congregation’s officials and request them to stop services. Should that not be enough, the authorities may “need to take additional action up to the point of fines and potentially closing the building permanently.”

That’s right.  Mayor de Blasio wants New Yorkers to rat out the city’s Jews, when ten of them get together to pray, so he can shut them down permanently.  Permanently.

Ten Jews have a minyan in New York and de Blasio will shutter a Synagogue for good.

Tell me again that it’s Trump who is an anti-Semite and the Democrats are the party that supports the Jews.

How to destroy your company and reputation by being an a**hole in one email – Updated

It is in a crisis that peoples’ true character is revealed.

When there was a shortage in masks for nurses on the front lines against the Coronavirus, volunteers across the country made masks from patterns available online and donated them to health care facilities.

As a history buff, it reminded me of Knitting for Victory, where countless men and women knit socks, gloves, scarves, and other winter wear for American soldiers in WWI, who were critically short in cold weather gear.

The CEOs of Hilton, Columbia Sportswear, and Texas Roadhouse have given up their salaries to cover workers.  Mark Cuban is paying the salaries for the workers of the Dallas Mavericks – the team he owns – out of his own pocket.

Other people reveal themselves to be shit on the inside.

This group includes the owners of Hobby Lobby.

Darsee Lett is the daughter of the founder and CEO, David Green, and Creative Director for Hobby Lobby.

Green is worth $6.3 Billion.

It’s worth pointing out that Hobby Lobby states on its own website that Hobby Lobby is committed to:

Honoring the Lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with Biblical principles.

Serving our employees and their families by establishing a work environment and company policies that build character, strengthen individuals, and nurture families.

Providing a return on the family’s investment, sharing the Lord’s blessings with our employees, and investing in our community.

I don’t see how any of that jives with the above email.

I didn’t realize that when Jesus talked about how to treat the least of his brothers and sisters, be meant firing them without notice or severance.

My wife is a crafter and she’s decided that Hobby Lobby is no longer getting our business.

I’m fine with that.  I vote with my dollars.

I have a feeling that a lot of people are making lists right now of who has been magnanimous during this crisis and who has used it to be a selfish asshole, and when all this blows over those people will vote and spend their money depending on where a politician or business fell on that list.

I hope the Green family is happy with the mammon they have now because they just borrowed from the Dick’s playbook of how to piss off a customer base.

Update:

According to Business Insider, Hobby Lobby is engaging in both layoffs and salary cuts.

Hobby Lobby is laying off workers and slashing salaries of employees in states where it has been forced to temporarily shutter stores in response to state mandates issued to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

In a memo sent to store managers on March 23, Randy Betts, Hobby Lobby’s vice president of store operations, wrote that the company “is going to make every effort to continue working the employees.”

Further, in a note to employees allegedly written by Hobby Lobby founder David Green last week, the CEO wrote that the employees “may all have to ‘tighten our belts’ over the near future.”

“Guess this is the belt-tightening David Green was talking about in his letter,” one employee told Business Insider.

This was a followup to a previous article published by Business Insider on Hobby Lobby’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Hobby Lobby has remained steadfast in staying open for business. On Saturday, digital strategist Kendall Brown tweeted a widely circulated photo of a note allegedly written by Hobby Lobby founder David Green, in which the openly conservative Christian businessman repeatedly mentions the power of God as part of his justification to leave stores open.

Green wrote that while the future remains unclear, the company can “rest in knowing that God is in control,” adding that the company may have to “tighten our belts” moving forward.

So far there is nothing to indicate this letter is fraudulent or a hoax.

If it turns out to be, I will recant and publish a retraction.

However, as of this update, it appears to be true.
