Just watching Governor DeSantis’s daily press conference. My jaw dropped when she shared the info that 80,000 people from NY and whereabouts, were tested as they came in the state (air and ground) escaping the Pandemic from their local areas. When applicable, they were told to quarantine.

Again, eighty thousand people. That is an Army Division if I am not mistaken. We were invaded.

And we have Politicians and Media complaining about how poor of a job Florida has done top control the virus? Are they just so hungry for power they are willing to lie and get us killed to get Democrats in office?

We all know the answer.

Here is an example:

You read it somewhat casually, and you figure that in the last 24 hours, 46 people died. Not true.  Why? Check the Florida’s COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard and specially the text at the bottom which has been there forever, but only a few has bother to read and even less to share.

The Deaths by Day chart shows the total number of Florida residents with confirmed COVID-19 that died on each calendar day (12:00 AM – 11:59 PM). Death data often has significant delays in reporting, so data within the past two weeks will be updated frequently.

In layman’s’ terms: Whenever the paperwork shows up, we update the numbers for past days. Yesterday, at the update time, there was only one death recorded with the Department of Health for May 20th. Today the same date gives us 20 deaths. The report was adjusted to show what had been reported.

This is also important because the media latched on a prohibition issued against county coroners about they giving their respective numbers of deaths to anybody whenever it suit them.  You can imagine the monumental clusterflock of 67 counties issuing numbers without any order and the Media “making mistakes oops! Sorry!” reporting those deaths just to make the governor look bad. Hell, the same media has been demanding more testing and when the numbers come in, they lose their minds because more people are found with the Wuhan V (ZOMG! WE GONNA DIEEEE!) which means the Republicans and the Governor do not know what they are doing.

And then they are surprised when we don’t give two dried shits about them.

I know we all have been complaining about the exaggerations given to the Wuhan virus, but as you know, I have been that sense of doom for security purposes.

I have not been bothered by pretty much anybody since the signs went up. No fishermen hanging around against the fence of my backyard and other than the Amazon drop off or the landscaper, nobody has come to our door.

A couple of days ago, our bell rang and I checked the camera: It was our next door neighbor.

His kids were playing ball in their backyard and they accidentally tossed one in mine. No biggie because kids will be kids and I was happy to return it. But just look where he stood to wait for me to answer the door.

8 feet. I measured.

When Life give you pandemic lemons, make some delicious paranoid lemonade and use it.

I have the suspicion it was based in the story of sending smallpox tainted blankets to the Indians back in colonial times coincidentally up there in the North East.

The President didn’t wear a mask, nor should he.

I don’t want to see the President of the United States, the most protected person in the world, hide behind a piece of gauze.

I want to see him send a message of strength that we will get past this and back to normal again.

After Pearl Harbor, FNR didn’t tell us to hide under our beds, he said: “American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.”

But AG Karen wants Trump to wear a mask.  So she has decided that he is no longer welcome in Michigan, which is way above her paygrade.

Had some Republican AG said this about Obama, his state would be accused of insurrection and wanting to secede.

Then to say that she wants to bring charges against the Ford plant for allowing Trump to walk around without a mask is just petty.

However, in doing this, it gives me a glimpse into the future.

I suspect that Democrat politicians will use tactics like this to break up or prevent Trump rallies from happening in swing states.

Trump wants to hold a rally and if people don’t wear masks, it will get shut down or the venue hosting it will face criminal charges and then back out of hosting it.

Mark my words, the jackbooted politics of mask-wearing is coming down the pipeline and it’s going to be ugly.
