Chicago is back to its bad normal

From FOX News:

Chicago suffers bloodiest Memorial Day weekend since 2015 with at least 10 killed, report says

Ten people were gunned down in Chicago in recent days during what is being called as the city’s deadliest Memorial Day weekend since 2015.

The violence – which also left 38 injured – came despite Illinois’ ongoing stay-at-home order asking residents to remain indoors “unless you work for an essential business or are doing an essential activity.”

The Chicago Sun-Times’ tally defined the Memorial Day weekend as beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and lasting until 5 a.m. Tuesday. In 2015, 12 people were killed over the holiday weekend, according to its reporting.

I guess that’s what happens when:

Chicago’s biggest jail has released almost a fourth of its population over coronavirus fears

Chicago’s Cook County Jail once had a population of roughly 10,000 detainees and was often cited for overcrowding.

Now that number is down to around 4,200, an all-time low, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. One significant reason is the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Also, as WBEZ reports:

Chicago Police have been instructed to minimize contacts with the public to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Since Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker issued his stay-at-home order in March, arrests in Chicago have dropped by almost 75%, according to city data. William’s experience highlights the difficult balance police are trying to strike between public health and public safety.

Who couldn’t have predicted that letting people out of jail and stopping the police from arresting people will lead to more death in Chicago’s streets?

The government of Chicago and Illinois, that’s who.

I wonder how many more young men died of gunshots than would have died of COVID had they been locked up the way they were supposed to?  What do you think that ratio is?

People are getting stir crazy but the government isn’t responding in kind.  Throw in the Democrat governors promising to fire cops if they don’t get their bailout and it’s easy to imagine that street violence is going to be bad this summer as agitated, unemployed people leave the house and there are not enough cops making too few arrests to keep the peace.

Broward County had some “small” issues during the last elections…like fraud.

Multiple shortcomings contributed to a problem-plagued 2018 election in Broward County, many of which were on public display while a national cable TV audience waited for Florida to recount votes in elections for governor and U.S. Senate. A controversial audit 18 months later is now detailing even more failings.

Among the issues raised in the audit:
-Half of Broward County’s election precincts reported more ballots cast than the number of voters. Backlogs in processing mail ballots snarled reporting of results.
-Confusing ballot design may have led thousands of voters to inadvertently skip an important contest.
-Money was wasted on unneeded blank ballots, which weren’t adequately tracked and were eventually destroyed.
-After election day, auditors found the recount was plagued by poor planning, inadequate staffing and equipment, and poor quality control.

Audit finds 2018 election in Broward County was marred by waste, extra votes, unnecessary delays

Can you say fraud, boys and girls”

Extra votes: Auditors said a little more than half of the county’s voting precincts — 293 out of 577 — had a combined total of 885 more tabulated votes than voters. Though that’s miniscule compared to the total voter turnout of 715,519, and a different set of countywide records showed no extra ballots, the auditors wrote that is the kind of problem that “compromises voter confidence.”

The writer misses the point: the 885 “extra” votes were not just the only ones that reek of fraud but just the unintended overflow. Or are they trying to tell us that 100% of the voters in every precinct voted? Fat effing chance there, Sparky.

We came close to have re-elect a Democrat senator and have a Meth Head with a pleasure for sharing spit and other bodily fluids with male prostitutes as governor. I wonder if we ended up with Pothead Fried as Ag secretary and in charge of the Concealed Weapons License program because of those fraudulent votes.

Battle of the Karens – a follow up

Earlier today wrote a post about a battle between two Karens over a dog off its leash in Central Park.

At the time I said both sides were guilty of shit.

I didn’t know how right I was.

The female Karen might have been racist but the male Karen is a fucking punk.

This is from his Facebook:

So this guy baited her dog as the self appointed Karen of the Ramble not cutting this woman any slack when the Waffen NYPD locked down the dog runs.

He admits he carries treats to bait dogs.

He deserves an ass-kicking for that.

It was announced that the woman was fired.

The Twitter hate mob was not satiated by this bloodshed and is demanding more.

Moreover, it turns out that the man Karen is one privileged motherfucker.  He’s a Harvard graduate, a book editor, and worked on a number of Marvel Comics.

No wonder he was such a fucking Karen, we was educated at the elite Karen proving grounds of America’s Ivy League.

I actually feel bad for the woman, she was baited into this and fell victim to hate mob Twitter.

If there us any justice in this world all of them (him Karen, her Karen, and him Karen’s sister who made the video go viral) of them will see the guillotine.

And every Twitter mob member who felt the need to harass her employer until she got fired.

I can say with absolute moral certainty that I would rather be responsible for the deaths of 10,000 Twitter users who harassed a women’s employer over a selectively edited cell phone video than I would harassing a women’s employer over a selectively edited cell phone video.

The Chorizo Issue.

I am very happy to see that people have taken to duplicate the recipes i post and I just realized there si an ingredient I keep mentioning but I have not been helpful about: Chorizo (AKA Spanish Sausage.)

This is the brand and “model” we use:

It is made by the Spanish company Palacios in a factory they have here in Miami. They are very good and had mom’s seal of approval as someone who actually made them back in the day at home.

We buy them locally at BJ’s Wholesale Club because they carry the Sarta type which is not dry.  Supposedly stores like Fresco y Mas (a latino spin off of Winn Dixie) Winn Dixie and even WalMart carries Quijote Chorizos but more than likely you get to order them through their site and have them shipped home.

Do your research. They come in different tastes and lengths, but for flavoring like with the peas’ recipe, pretty much any model will do.

Hope this helps!

This is one faux outrage people need to chill down about.

Contrary to what some people are foaming about, contact tracing is not a secret and nefarious government project which is designed to squeeze information out of you before you and yours are sent to  Quarantine Camps to die.  It is a normal investigative technique that has an immense value on figuring out how a sickness spreads and how where and and who got it started.  This has been done pretty much since Pasteur saw the little bugs in the microscope, so it is far from some Facebook/Bill Gates conspiracy to chip everybody and  fore people to buy Apple Products.

From TB to syphilis to  smallpox, every single one of their breakouts was not only treated with the correspondent medications and therapies, but with an investigation on how it got passed along. Hell, go ask your grandparents what was the procedure when back in the day somebody ended up with a drippy dick.

So chill, you are not legally to respond to any questions. Just say you are busy and have no idea how you got the clap…er… Wuhan V. and hang up the phone.

I’ll ask again, why are Democrat governors such pieces of sh*t?

From FOX News:

Michigan Gov. Whitmer caught in Memorial Day lockdown controversy over husband’s reported boat request

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer faced backlash from Republican lawmakers after a reported request from her husband to get the family’s boat out on the water before Memorial Day weekend — far from their home in Lansing.

In Facebook posts no longer visible to the public, NorthShore Dock LLC and its owner, Tad Dowker, focused on what Dowker said was a request last week by Whitmer’s husband, Marc Mallory. The posts caught the attention of Republican state lawmakers, who said the governor’s family may not have wanted to follow the guidance she’s issued for the rest of the state.

“This morning, I was out working when the office called me, there was a gentleman on hold who wanted his boat in the water before the weekend,” Dowker posted, The Detroit News reported. “Being Memorial weekend and the fact that we started working three weeks late means there is no chance this is going to happen.”

He continued, “Our office personnel had explained this to the man and he replied, ‘I am the husband to the governor, will this make a difference?'” The docking company later noted that Mallory respectfully accepted that the accommodation would not be possible.

So the governor’s husband had the audacity to pull the “do you know who I am” on people who opened late because of his wife’s bullshit lockdown tyranny.

That’s balls.

Whitmer locked the state down until June 2and and rumor is she’s going to push that back again, but her husband can order people to break out his boat from storage.

The double standard is not surprising but the gall of it is.

I swear there must be a competition among Democratic leaders to see who is the biggest piece of shit.

I suspect the prize is Biden’s VP slot.  It should be a hemp necktie.

Backyard Critters

It has rained a lot in South Florida in the last 2 days. And when a Floridian tells you it rained a lot, it usually is the equivalent of declaration of emergency up north.

By my estimations, our lake has raised over a foot, maybe a foot and a half? Anyways, it is now officially in my backyard.

Anyway, some creature usually not seen that close, dropped by possibly hiding for the predatory companions.

No bass was seen while I was outside. They are notoriously paranoid creatures, specially in very clear waters.
