See how a wee bit of their own medicine works wonders?

Submitted by Russ Fulcher (R-ID 1st):
Resolving that jurisdictions seeking to dismantle or reduce funding for the jurisdiction’s police force should not unduly burden residents who seek to defend themselves.
Whereas the killing of George Floyd was a horrific and despicable act;
Whereas racism in any form is wrong and should not be tolerated;
Whereas adequate and accountable police departments are vital to helping people to defend themselves and their property; and
Whereas the right to defend oneself is a God-given natural right enshrined in the Constitution and upheld in English common law and recent Supreme Court cases: Now, therefore, be it that –
(1) any jurisdiction in the United States, which seeks to dismantle or reduce funding for a police force, should undertake a review of its local rules to ensure such rules do not place an undue burden on its residents who seek to defend themselves, including the legal purchase of a firearm and any training services such individuals choose;
(2) such a review should be based on the standards set forth by the Supreme Court in the cases District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago, which confirmed the Second Amendment to the Constitution to be an individual right and that no law can prohibit an individual from possessing and using a firearm in the home for self-defense; and
(3) any jurisdiction which seeks to dismantle or reduce funding for police agencies must ensure they remove rules that hinder individual gun ownership or access to firearms.
That’s it. That’s the whole bill.
You want to defund the police, you have to let the people have guns.
Seems simple enough.
I’d love for this to pass then watch New York City and the rest of Lefty La-La-Land squirm.
Tampa, FL – Two Tampa police officers were surrounded and attacked by hundreds of rioters after they responded to a report of shots fired in the Ybor City neighborhood on Saturday (video below).
Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan described the vicious assault as an “ambush,” FOX News reported.
The incident began at approximately 1 a.m., when Tampa police received a report of shots fired in the area of 26th Avenue and 15th Street, WFLA reported.
The caller further alleged that there was a possible gunshot victim at the scene, according to FOX News.
As the officers tried to search for the wounded victim, hundreds of rioters surrounded them and blocked them inside the intersection, Chief Dugan said.
They then began hurling glass bottles at them and jumped on their police vehicles, according to the chief.
One of the officers was hit in the head with an object thrown by the rioters, causing him to suffer a small laceration and swelling, FOX News reported.
VIDEO: Mob Calls In Fake Shooting Then Attack Responding Officers In ‘Ambush’
You know that some idiot watched this in a movie and thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate once more that Black Live Matter by attacking cops or some other happy horseshit. And I don’t give a fuck if you have a beef with the cops. If you do, man up and go fuck with them at their precint.
But when you are calling about a victim of a shooting and turns out to be false, you are placing a real future victim in a faster death clock. Cops will wait to arrive in force and Paramedics will not come out of their stations if there is the possibility of being attacked by a mob.
And if somebody dies? Oh yeah, fuck him or her.
I do hope they find who called and gets nailed with the full weight of the law. But it is coming to the point that other options may be acceptable.
In an article about fired police officers in Miami Gardens by Charles Rabin, all the way to the end you will find the following:
Wow! Did I miss that video? Is it found in Youtube anywhere? Did Nancy Grace and all other legal pundits on TV played it for the audiences? Was I the only human in the US that missed the video?
The video does not exists. It never did. I posted the screen cap over Andrew Branca’s FB page and I am pasting his response.
I started following Andrew in Twitter during the Zimmerman trial. He was the only one that was “narrating” step by step what was happening in court and with real legal commentary and no sensationalism and I remember that part of the detective’s interrogation brought in court.
So why lie about something that obvious? Because he can? And no, I am done giving benefit of the doubt, specially for the Media.
The Media here s still giggling because of the quarantine on Floridians travelling to NY. It was means as a slap on the face of Governor DeSantis and all the Republicans in Florida to portray us as a dangerous and irresponsible people who do not care if grandma dies.
Bu then, the numbers (that they somehow never publish) point to a different reality.
Let’s see those numbers closer. Deaths per 100K:
So, Almighty Cuomo, the hope of the Democratic party is running 10 times the number of Total Deaths compared with the numbers of Abuelita- Hating Murderous DeSantis.
Good to know our Media wishes we have that many people dying in our state.
From Yahoo News:
Why it might be time to finally replace ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ with a new national anthem
Last week, protesters in San Francisco toppled a statue of the song’s composer, Francis Scott Key, a known slaveholder who once said that African Americans were “a distinct and inferior race of people, which all experience proves to be the greatest evil that afflicts a community.” This week, Liana Morales, an Afro-Latinx student at New York’s Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts, refused to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at her virtual graduation ceremony, explaining to the Wall Street Journal, “With everything that’s happening, if I stand there and sing it, I’m being complicit to a system that has oppressed people of color.” Instead, Morales performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a hymn widely considered to be the “Black national anthem.”
Activist and journalist Kevin Powell, author of the new book When We Free the World, says it’s important to understand the song’s racist legacy, starting with Key’s bigoted background.
“Francis Scott Key, he was a big-time guy in terms of the American colonization of society,” adds Walker. “This was not just a person who just lived in the time period. This is a person who helped define the time period.”
Key also came from a slave owning family.
All this being said, Powell doesn’t pass judgement on the many Black artists who’ve performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at high-profile events in the past — though he predicts that many artists will start refusing to sing it in the near future, in a movement similar to Colin Kaepernick and his supporters taking a knee during the anthem in recent years.
Jimi Hendrix wasn’t woke enough for current black leaders.
My money is the NBA and NFL will stop singing the National Anthem before games this year.
Celebrities will refuse to do it for the venues that don’t stop.
So, if “The Star-Spangled Banner” goes the way of the Confederate flag and Gone With the Wind, what should America’s new national anthem be? Whatever it is, Walker says there should be a formal “vetting process” to make sure the next anthem doesn’t have a terrible past; Powell, for his part, suggests John Lennon’s “Imagine,” which he says is “the most beautiful, unifying, all-people, all-backgrounds-together kind of song you could have.”
They literally want a national anthem that contains the lyrics:
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you
It is literally an anti-national anthem. It’s nihilistic bullshit. That is what they want.
These people really hate America and are going to manipulate everything to justify their desire to destroy it all.
You want to wake up the dragon, tell millions of Americans that they are canceled for singing the Star Spangled Banner because it was based on a poem written by a guy born into a slave owning family.
That’s a sure fire way to get their asses burned.
There is something weird going on.
He confronted the woman, Safiya Satchell, 33, as she sat in a Mercedes SUV. In his arrest report, he claimed that Satchell refused to get out of the car so he could issue her a warning for trespassing.
He claimed that he tried opening the door and she closed the window on his hand, then began “striking me,” he claimed. Once Martel got out of the SUV, he claimed she resisted by “tensing and kicking,” then punched him on the lip. He twice used a Taser stun gun.
Defense lawyers for Satchell turned over the video — taken by Satchell’s friend — to Miami-Dade prosecutors and FDLE. Investigators determined that the video showed Martel’s arrest report contained several false statements. He’s charged with official misconduct for the arrest report.
Miami Gardens police officer to be charged after video shows him with knee on woman’s neck
There is an alleged video showing the incident which “has yet to be released publicly” but when the news initially was released some days ago, there was a video shown of a tussle and a knee pressed against the upper back of a person but not the neck. I tried to find the video for this post, but it seems I can’t find it all of the sudden, Weird.
I find disturbing that the Herald says he will be charged with Battery and Official Misconduct, when he has already been only charged with the second. What would be the idea behind this?
Mind you, Miami Gardens PD doe not have a stellar reputations for professionalism or public relations and you won’t see me being a fan of them. But I think this smells at the Herald trying to get something started that can get out of hand and then they can write about it.
That would be playing a dangerous game.
