North Face turns back on local oil and gas company

Innovex Downhole Solutions says it was recently denied an order of jackets by The North Face, a popular outdoor recreation company because they are in the oil and gas business.

“I was surprised but not surprised if that makes sense,” Innovex CEO Adam Anderson said.

Innovex is based in Houston and has nearly 100 workers in the Permian Basin.

Each year, the company gets a Christmas gift for its employees. This year, it was supposed to be a North Face jacket with an Innovex logo, a company Innovex has ordered gear from in the past.

The company providing the jackets said The North Face doesn’t want to support the oil and gas industry in the same way they’d reject the porn industry or tobacco industry.

“They told us we did not meet their brand standards,” Anderson said. “We were separately informed that what that really meant is was that we were an oil and gas company.”

So oil and gas is just like porn?

The mind numbing thing about this is that the best selling TNF products are 100% polypropylene and nylon, which are synthetic polymers that come from petroleum distillates.

Lisa Montgomery fatally strangled a pregnant woman, Bobbie Jo Stinnett, cut open her body, and kidnapped her baby. In December 2004, as part of a premeditated murder-kidnap scheme, Montgomery drove from her home in Kansas to Stinnett’s home in Missouri, purportedly to purchase a puppy.  Once inside the residence, Montgomery attacked and strangled Stinnett—who was eight months pregnant—until the victim lost consciousness.  Using a kitchen knife, Montgomery then cut into Stinnett’s abdomen, causing her to regain consciousness.  A struggle ensued, and Montgomery strangled Stinnett to death.  Montgomery then removed the baby from Stinnett’s body, took the baby with her, and attempted to pass it off as her own.  Montgomery subsequently confessed to murdering Stinnett and abducting her child.  In October 2007, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri found Montgomery guilty of federal kidnapping resulting in death, and unanimously recommended a death sentence, which the court imposed.  Her conviction and sentence were affirmed on appeal, and her request for collateral relief was rejected by every court that considered it.  Montgomery is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on December 8, 2020, at U.S. Penitentiary Terre Haute, Indiana.

Knowing how many times murder like this has happened under the eyes of the United Nations and their reaction has been one of shrugging shoulders and maybe release some stupid statement just makes me mad. How many pregnant mothers were treated to a similar faith during the Rwanda genocide while the UN “Peacekeeper” sat on their fat asses and did shit? And now they have the balls to come over and criticize the US because at least we are sending the killer to get ass reamed by Satan?

And now, here is what landed Brandon Bernard in the gurney:

Brandon Bernard and his accomplices brutally murdered two youth ministers, Todd and Stacie Bagley, on a military reservation in 1999. After Todd Bagley agreed to give a ride to several of Bernard’s accomplices, they pointed a gun at him, forced him and Stacie into the trunk of their car, and drove the couple around for hours while attempting to steal their money and pawn Stacie’s wedding ring.  While locked in the trunk, the couple spoke with their abductors about God and pleaded for their lives.  The abductors eventually parked on the Fort Hood military reservation, where Bernard and another accomplice doused the car with lighter fluid as the couple, still locked in the trunk, sang and prayed.  After Stacie said, “Jesus loves you,” and “Jesus, take care of us,” one of the accomplices shot both Todd and Stacie in the head—killing Todd and knocking Stacie unconscious.  Bernard then lit the car on fire, killing Stacie through smoke inhalation.  In June 2000, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas found Bernard guilty of, among other offenses, two counts of murder within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, and unanimously recommended a death sentence.  His conviction and sentence were affirmed on appeal, and his request for collateral relief was rejected by every court that considered it.  Bernard is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on December 10, 2020, at U.S. Penitentiary Terre Haute, Indiana.  One of his accomplices, Christopher Vialva, was executed for his role in the Bagleys’ murder on September 22, 2020.

If this sounds familiar to you, it is because I posted about the execution of his buddy in murder Christopher Vialva back in September when the Miami Herald used the news as purely race baiting and more than one idiot bit hard on the political morsel.

Same as in the other execution, we can agree that shooting people you put in the trunk of a car and the setting them on fire, goes way beyond the “He should be pardoned because harsh life” and other mollycoddling bull. He is going away painless which is more than his victims got.

As our opponents were fond to say: “This is a good first step.”

One thing I will disagree with is the unloading (and then obviously loading) of the gun in such close and uncomfortable quarters: The less you play with it, the less the chances of you making a mistake). Personally I want to minimize any unnecessary manipulation of the firearm and also I don’t want to broadcast with my body language that a gun will remain in the car even if it is in a locked box.

I am not going to infuse your rectum with the hazy byproduct of fire and tell you that public hospital prior to Chavez were amazing buildings full of the best and latest medical equipment. Nope, they were old edifications built anywhere from the 1930s to the most modern one built in the 1980s which I posted about a while back. They had to be constantly maintained, they had old equipment mixed with new and  sometimes they were short on some supplies, specially when there was a transition of power and monies got lost and landed on the pockets of the outgoing administrative personnel.

But this decay we saw in the video? The hospital was inaugurated in 1973 and by Venezuelan standards, it should still be a top of the line, working facility with only 47 years of use. By this time, it as well understood that the shell did not needed to be rebuilt to have a great hospital and that it was the equipment that would change.  Keep it working with water, electricity and good sewage and the rest can always be improved.

I wonder in which Swiss bank can we find the monies that were supposed to go to this hospital. Sure as hell it never showed up at that address.

‘Historic decision’: Israel and Morocco agree on full ties ‘as soon as possible’

Israel and Morocco have agreed to reestablish diplomatic relations, US President Donald Trump announced Thursday, marking the fourth Arab-Israel agreement in four months.

As part of the announcement, Trump said that the US would recognize Morocco’s claim over the disputed Western Sahara region.

In their first reactions to Trump’s announcement later Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Moroccan King Mohammed VI lauded the latest normalization agreement.

“This will be a very warm peace. On this Hannukah, the light of peace has never shone brighter than today in the Middle East,” said Netanyahu at a Hanukkah candle-lighting ceremony at the Western Wall. He said the relationship of the peoples of both countries “has long been characterized by sympathy, respect, fondness and love,” and praised King Mohammed’s “historic decision” to make peace.

Four Arab countries have normalized relations with Israel in as many months.

Notice how Trump did this.  Not by making Israel give concessions to the Palestinians.

Why?  Because the “conventional wisdom” that all Middle East peace hinges on the Palestinians is both seriously fucking stupid and solidly anti-Semitic as it is essential “blame the Jews first.”

Trump very well may end his Presidency with a peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia united against a nuclear Iran.

Trump’s Middle East deals should prove beyond any reasonable doubt why anyone in DC who calls themselves a “policy expert” should be fed feet first into a wood chipper.  Those people have been 100% wrong, absolutely diametrically opposed to right for decades, and it was the outsiders that these “experts” said would fail who have actually succeeded.
