The twitter account shown has stated several times they are not connected with the blog, but do interact in some capacity.

The blog itself only deals with Chicago police politics and was a strident critic of Mayor Beetlejuice Lightfoot and the upper echelon of Chicago PD.

Was it used as excuse? Who knows. But Chicago politics does carry  big stick and it does not seem unreasonable that a favor was made by Google  to rid this bothersome blog.

So, if you have Blogspot and have dared to piss the wrong people off, you may want to at least do a super-back up and start searching for greener pastures… which are under the care of a troglodyte whose contact is available on the right side of this page.

Only 6mm and 7mm and the wife standing next to me so i would not make a run for the gun counter.  I don’t know in other locations, but since this particular one opened, they always had at least two pallets’ worth of shotgun shells right in the aisle next to the three ammunition aisles; the above is only half of one side of an aisle as the rest was occupied by other knickknacks and accesories to cover the absence of calibers. It was depressing to say the least, and yet people were crowding the counter buying guns.

PS: There is a range in the premises and they do this for safety purposes if you are planning on doing some shooting.

The irony of product placement for a group that hates cops and tries to burn precincts is lead-level dense.

It is just starting and it is annoying as hell.  And of course is not truly reflecting the attitude of cops when it comes to work in certain areas know to be troublesome. In the shows we are seeing cops having deep moments of self-reflection (hyper-compressed for time allotment) and in the case of The Rookie, they could not pick a whiter guy to make him a bad cop.

It is predictable mush that will stay for a while. Hopefully till their pockets start feeling the brutal reduction in ratings. And for The Rookie it was probably a dumb way to go. They were initially slated to be cancelled, then brought back again only to be placed on Sunday nights. It may not make it unless they get a Federal grant for being gracious and brave.
