Month: January 2021

Now this is a damned good shooting and I want to see BLM bitch about it

You risk a baby’s life? You deserve this ending.

The emotion in the cop’s voice with the kid at the end is palpable. Well done, Office, very frigging well done.

Florida Legislature 2021: SB 498 – Safety of Religious Institutions – Letter sent.

The bill picked up several sponsors, but not yet a companion in the House.  Truthfully I am not happy with this bill and I have it tagged as Bad Bill for the reasons I express in the letter sent to Senator Gruters and the co-sponsors.

Hoping I did not screw the pooch too much, but here is what I wrote.

Regarding you proposed bill SB 498 – Safety of Religious Institutions, I would like to suggest a couple of ideas.

First, when it says “a posted policy” I might be wrong, but it reads as if there has to be signage prohibiting the carrying of concealed weapons in church and I see a couple of problems.

First, the requirement of non-specified signs regarding size, location and language can cause unintended “traps” for those legally carrying. Also it would be a “camel’s nose under the tent” opportunity for other locations to demand the same which may lead down the road to a reduction where law-abiding Floridians could carry.  I believe that keeping it simple and just allowing to carry in all places of worship would be enough.

But if the signage is a must, I would earnestly suggest to change the penalty from a a second degree misdemeanor to a Non-Criminal Violation in the form of a fine not to exceed $200. A second degree misdemeanor is still a too powerful temptation for some to abuse power on what could be a simple mistake on the part of the person carrying a concealed weapon and unfortunately, some prosecutors run away from the pack and may use the statute for less than noble intention as we have seen in the past, thankfully just in uncommon exceptions. After several decades of statistics, Floridians with Concealed Weapons’ Permits are one of the most (if not the most) law abiding citizens of the state. Since its inception, less than half of one percent of all licenses issued have been revoked by any cause or crime and we should not be penalized for simply trying to stay safe while professing our faith.

Thank you for taking the time to read my ideas and I hope they provide a measure of help.

Good luck and God Bless.

Miguel Gonzalez.

Feel free to copy the idea (not copy/paste, you lazy bastards! 🙂 ) and I plan on writing my representative later tonight or tomorrow first thing to see about a companion bill.

I’ll be going over other bills as the week progresses. Join the fun!

And for some stupid reason, I want one.

“But that is gonna kill old people!”

Are you getting the feeling that democrat governors everywhere were conducting COVID Political Science rather epidemiological science?

The sad part? People would probably re-elect this asshat or substitute him for a similar model.

And I know it is not nice to mock the suffering of others, but I can’t help myself.

Tacoma riots, a follow up

Yesterday I brought you the news that two cars were doing donuts in an intersection when the police tried to respond, a crowd attacked one of the police cars.  The officer tried to back out of the situation, when he was blocked in, he ran over some protesters.

In response to agitators picking a fight with the Tacoma police and physics, they came out in force to destroy Tacoma.

Remember how Biden was supposed to magically end this and bring peace to American streets?

Yeah…

I’m sensing that the metro areas of Washington and Oregon are going to spend the next four years in a state of permanent riot.

The unbanking of undesirables

Two important little pieces of news:

First, this Tweet:

Then this story from the NY Post:

Realtor who took private jet to Capitol riot gets booted from PayPal

The Texas Realtor who flew on a private jet to take part in the US Capitol riot shamelessly begged for donations on PayPal for her legal fees and business losses — getting her booted from the service.

Jenna Ryan, who said this week that she has “no guilt in my heart” and felt like a martyr after taking part in the DC assault, asked her Twitter followers on Thursday for financial help.

“I am accepting donations to pay legal fees and losses due to my arrest and charges by the FBI for protesting at the US Capitol. Thank you for your support. Any amount helps,” the disgraced real estate agent posted along with a link to PayPal.

She said she raised $1,000 — but by Thursday evening, PayPal had closed her account.

“PayPal has a policy to allow fundraising for legal defense purposes,” company rep Kim Eichorn told CBS News in an email.

First of all, whether or not she took a private plane makes no difference.  I don’t know if she chartered the plane, owns the plane, or if it was a corporate plane that she had access to, I have no idea.  It’s irrelevant.  All it does in the story is to imply that she is very rich and is being an asshole asking for donations.

The point is, she was using PayPal within the allowable policy, but was kicked off because she was asking for help with legal fees associated with the Capitol Hill protest.

PayPal is a banking institution, it has a credit service.

In both of these cases, the money handling company was making decisions based on the politics or perceived politics of the user.

This is what Trump banned and Biden is overturning.

The goal is to destroy us by making us unable to have credit or transfer money.  Let’s be honest, you cannot live a cashless life, too much is done digitally.

The first step in unpersoning millions of people is to take away our ability to use money by unbanking us.
