So…I was told that if I voted for Trump for re-election, that the USA would be ruined and devolve into a Nazi-like state of affairs, and that “the rest of the world” would lose respect for us, and that we would be leaving our allies dangling in the wind with no support from us.
Well, I voted for Trump.
And I have to say, everything those people told me would happen if I voted for Trump has happened…we are going to need “papers” to travel between States (just like the Nazi’s forced their citizens to do in the 1930’s and 40’s), the rest of the world has lost respect for us due to the Mongolian fustercluck in Afghanistan, and our Allies are blaming us for the abandonment of innocents in Afghanistan after promising them that we would help to make their lives better, and future brighter.
Sleepy Joe is gonna be a one-termer…if he actually manages to stay in office that long.

Other people see this and drive on by.

Nobody has been arrested for this attack.

In other attacks, the charges have been dropped.

This is The Loop is the restaurant and shopping center of Chicago.  It is the economic center of the city.

For mobs of teenage robbers to be pack hunting in The Loop shows just how terrible the situation in Chicago has become.

US general tells British special forces: Stop rescuing people in Kabul, you’re making us look bad

Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue has told his British Army counterpart, a high-ranking field-grade officer of the British army’s 22nd Special Air Service Regiment, that British operations were embarrassing the United States military in the absence of similar U.S. military operations. I understand that the British officer firmly rejected the request.

This show of rare tension between the U.S. and British command groups in Kabul reflects three factors.

First, it shows the obvious stress of attempting to extricate thousands of personnel under a situation of increasing terrorist threat. Elements of the Haqqani network, the Islamic State in Afghanistan, and possibly al Qaeda are now operating in proximity to Kabul airport with some degree of command separation from the Taliban.

In addition, the British military has more operational latitude in Kabul than the U.S. military, including the Navy SEAL elements present at the airport. I understand that the SAS has conducted operations to bring American citizens, as well as British citizens and at-risk personnel, through checkpoints and to the airport. This is not an indictment on U.S. capabilities or special operations intent, but rather, it’s a reflection of political-military authorities.

A bureaucratic tug of war between the State Department, Pentagon, and White House is also disrupting evacuation operations out of Kabul. This is aggravating British, French, and other Kabul-present military authorities.

We have elite infantry and special forces on the ground in Kabul.  The White House and flag officers are holding them back and when our allies go in to rescue their people and our people, our flag officers tell them to stop because it makes our people look bad.

This makes us look worse.

Our allies are doing for our citizens what our military should be doing for our citizens but are not because our political and military elite are human dog shit.

Yesterday we found out the US Government was billing Americans for being evacuated.

Today we find out the US Government is hindering our allies from helping evacuate Americans.

I don’t want to know what we’re going to find out tomorrow because the one thing I know is that we have not reached peak awful with this adminstration.

Event:  Because of potential security threats outside the gates at the Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.

Be ready: Your taxes will go to pay the Taliban for the release of whatever hostages they have left after the killing is done.

And no, there won’t be no bombing, no Marines storming Kabul: First, the last time somebody in this administration had any balls nearby, they were hitting the chin of the VP. Second: The About-To-Be-Hostages will be used as convenient Human Shields all over the country.

The Biden administration continues to charge American citizens up to $2,000 and even more from non-U.S. citizens to board a U.S.-chartered evacuation flight out of Afghanistan, despite the evacuation efforts still being in utter chaos and claiming they intend to stop “seeking any reimbursement” for those attempting to flee the turmoil.

The State Department publicly posted the payment cost on the website Saturday, but it largely went unnoticed amid the turmoil in Afghanistan before Politico NatSec Daily highlighted the revelation on Thursday. According to Politico, a person in Afghanistan said they saw a State Department staff asking American passengers a “large payments [of] up to $2,000” and even more from non-U.S. citizens. A spokesperson in the State Department, when asked about the charges, didn’t deny the claim.
