I saw two Tweets this morning that made me go “what?”

They seem to be taking a victory lap on this.
It had nothing to do with either the March For Our Lives or Sandy Hook (remember the first case was dismissed because of the Lawful Commerce in Arms Act).
But this call for bans will only help boost sales.
Since the anti gunners are generally angry and stupid people, I think I might make some signs for them for thier next rally.
“Ban Bushmaster”
“Nobody needs a military style sniper rifle, ban the Remington 700.”
“Soldiers carried Remington 1911s into war, ban the Remington 1911.
“RP stands for Rapid-fire Pistol, ban the RP9 and RP45.”
Seriously, Remington could use the panic buy sales.
It’s like they don’t think a bankruptcy for a major corporation is something that takes a long time and is planned well in advance, and not something Remington decided to do just in the last week or two.
The mind boggles.
Poor understanding of the way the world works … overinflated sense of importance and influence … crowing over the misfortune of others (in this case Rem’s employees) …
Pretty SOP for the left as far as I can see.
If they didn’t have shit for brains they wound’t be for high taxes and/or socialism either.
You expect a liberal to comprehend business?
Sorry, you expect a liberal to comprehend anything?
The reason Remington is going into bankruptcy is because they’ve been making really really lousy guns.
It’s a classic story- company with good reputation gets bought by beancounters, beancounters louse up quality to squeeze out profits, people stop buying.
