  1. Make sure to review them on yelp. 🙂 It will help others avoid their scam.

  2. Passed this along to a bud who’s in town for the convention. Hoping he’ll spread the word.

  3. In Nashville, almost every business within walking distance had signs that said “Welcome NRA” and legally binding “No guns allowed” placards right next to them.

  4. I wouldn’t have any problem with that, if they meant it. I support “reasonable and EFFECTIVE gun regulations,” as, i suspect, do most readers of this blog. Here are some examples that spring immediately to mind, so you understand what i mean:
    1. national carry reciprocity
    2. posting “gun free zones” makes the post-er liable for damages if someone uses a gun therein.
    3. concealed-carry background check allows carry ANYWHERE not protected by US Secret Service
I’m sure you can think of a few more. The problem is that the regulations leftists want are neither reasonable, nor effective.

  5. The stupidity of these virtue signallers never cease to amaze. They could have just gone quietly this whole week, or hell, even promoted themselves to the NRA convention-goers as Second Amendment friendly, and secretly donated those proceeds to whatever gun control group they felt like.

Now, thanks to the power of the Internet, none of the convention attendees will be going. If they do good business during at other times, great, but they’re going to miss out on a lot of action this weekend.

I’m not sure if, or how much the city subsidizes these types of events, but I understood that a city provides some incentives for having a convention in their city. On the other end of that equation are the city’s taxpayers, and the one benefit that these businesses get by paying for those incentives – increased patronage during the convention – they don’t even get.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

  6. I wonder how the wait staff that would have benefited from a huge convention is going to enjoy the paltry tips?

Also, how long will they last after the convention leaves and they permanently alienated local gun rights customers?

  7. Yet no-one here is pointing out the real travesty.

$15.00 for a breakfast? Not even Cracker Barrel is that screwed up.

    Bastards.

  8. I’ll be eating there the first chance I get. Sensible controls are not the same as a total weapons ban. The sooner we figure out the NRA is a corporate puppet and take it back or start a new organization dedicated to sportsmen, not madmen, the better.
