By now you must have heard the sad news. Nine people dead by the hand of some deranged a**hole that at the time of writing (3:31 AM) was still on the loose. I have the feeling he will be found dead by his own hand as that is what majority of those cowards choose to do.
Get ready for the rampage of BS from the Usual Suspects. So far only Everytown has said anything but a request for prayer, although the followers took up the slack on blaming every gun owner in the U.S. plus the NRA. The fact that attacks in churches have been present since Colonial times is something they do not know or choose to ignore.
And be aware of copycats. There is always and idiot that want to do the “me too.” Carry & Be Aware.
If I were to guess, probably some psycho trying to re-enact this scene from the recent hit, Kingsmen(which I actually wanted to see until I found out about said scene.)

Summary: Thamuel L Jackthon uses a psycho-active rage virus spread by phone on a church that is supposedly a WBC equivalent. One of the protagonists of the movie is the first and most-affected and shoots a woman in the face for being a homophobe, then proceeds to slaughter the entire congregation while Freebird plays in the background.
The scene is celebratory, and regardless of what the creators intended, fans have spread and commented on it as what they wish they could do to churches around the US.

Huh. Interesting. My family didn’t like when I brought my (concealed) pistol to church because “nothing would ever happen at a church.” I mentioned a few incidents to them and they didn’t believe it could happen. Then again, they still don’t quite believe me about militarization of the pigs even after the whole Boston incident a few years back.
