The blog does not have a catchy slogan… or any slogan at all. Since J. Kb. is Jewish and I am Hispanic, I came up with this one:
“Shalom, pendejo!”
What do you guys think?
Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

How about zeigeshundeit huevon
OK, now you are getting technical. 😀
I like it! Will Y’all be selling branded merchandise, such as reversible yarmulke/sombreros with the phrase on them?
My particular set of ancestors do their local berets.
And the way we wear it, we have to get creative with the embroidering.
Очень хорошо
Спасибо.
I done knowed you weren’t Mexican, I was just trying to stereotype-it-up. 😛
A boina would take more ‘splaining to the masses. 😉
I like it!
I like it. Subtle..
If you’re serious about it being a real slogan, it should easily understood. If it’s not easily understood, very few will bother to understand it. The few that try and understand what it means will Google it and come up with “Peace, pubic hair” or “Peace, idiot”. Is that what you want your slogan to be?
Now, if you want an inside joke, one that excludes and alienates people, it’d fit the bill.
But a slogan? Nah.
O2
One of the meanings of pendejo is the hair around the anus, not the pubic area. That would make it the equivalent of “asshole” rather than idiot, but since the word has been so abused, it now has the meaning of dumb ass.
It could work.
LOL, if you like it, go for it! 🙂
not partial to it, but that’s just me. give us a few days to come up with alternative, OK?
“Sometimes more isn’t better, Linus, sometimes it’s just more.” -Sabrina (1995)
I don’t think you need a slogan. I think the simple “Gun Free Zone” title and logo are good enough.
Most folks won’t get it. Something that fits your theme would be, “Truth at 870 feet/second” OK, I’m a M1911A1 .45 ACP guy, but you get the idea.
Yeah… slogans are hard… good slogans are impossible 🙂
