RogerG asked me this:

So if a BLM member gets Chauvin off because of his lying on void dire session, what do you think BLM will do about him?

Short answer: Nothing. In fact he will be praised for trying to lynch Chauvin impart justice for George Floyd, patron saint of Fentanyl,  and that the system is irrevocably damaged and needs to be torn apart if his lying leads to a new trial. So, probably he will be touted as a hero/

  1. Think about this from the standpoint of a tribal / clan mentality.

He did something that his tribe or clan approves of, so, he’s a hero. He broke someone else’s laws, but who cares – they’re not our tribe. If the someone-else tries to hold him to account, the tribe is being attacked; and what do you do when your tribe is attacked?

All of this is part of the mentality the Democrats have been driving for for decades, and it really started to flower under Pres. Obama. This is one of the consequences.

We’ve also seen this play out in Iraq/Afghanistan, and further back, imperial Britain in India, and various European colonies in Africa.

    1. I remember the claim — not sure if it’s accurate — that the Koran forbids lying to muslims, but doesn’t object to lying against kafirs.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
