I am glad to be considered a Terrorist by the good folks of Homeland Security.

Extreme Right-Wing: groups that believe that one’s personal and/or national “way of life” is under attack and is either already lost or that the threat is imminent (for some the threat is from a specific ethnic, racial, or religious group), and believe in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism. Groups may also be fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation), anti-global, suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty, and believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.

I guess not wanting to be Eurotrash is a no-no in the 21st Century.

Excuse me while I cling to my guns and my Bible.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. Wow. How would these a$$holes classify Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin? George Washington? Patrick Henry? This list is long and mind-boggling.

  2. Heh. They’d buddy right up to the Founding Fathers, then stab them i the back at the first opportunity. Cuz…ya know…this is a free country, they’re free to do whatever they want. Like taking away the freedoms of others. “All animals are equal. Some are just more equal than others.”

Have a safe and happy 4th, all!

  3. I call bullsh*t. I’m extremely skeptical of the whole “right wing terrorist” idea. Even so, by their own data, for every “right wing terrorist attack” there’s 18 of the others.

The environmentalists (ELF) by themselves have done more domestic terrorism than all the right wingers ever. Every assassination in American history was either a leftist or an anarchist. Except maybe the Palestinian who shot Bobby Kennedy.

I bet if an objective person looked at their data, most of the so-called right wing attacks would go away.

    1. As Ken says, it’s about control. For the whole deal of liberals wanting to be friendly to everyone, there is the whole “more equal than thou” side of em. And if you aren’t gonna roll over and allow yourself to be stepped on by these punks, they will sure as all hell make sure you are seen as an ‘other’.

Us versus them. They hope you either come crawling to be accepted, or be destroyed by their minions.

  4. Reverse their definitions and you have a basic description of the Democrats, OWS and the unions (which all rolled together is probably indistinguishable from the Eurotrash of which you speak).

As SiGraybeard noted, those are the ones that need riot police to handle them. They are the ones who bring destruction whenever they protest. Meanwhile, the Tea Party people followed the rules and left the parks and streets clean when they finished.

The DHS has it all so backwards that it makes my head hurt.

  5. It always tickles me to see them throw “survivalist” into the crazy melting pot, especially given what just happened in W. Va where people were without power/cell service/etc for days after the storm passed through.

  6. “. More than 2,600 terrorist
events occurred in the United States between 1970 and 2008.”

I want a list of every one of these. Just what are they calling a terrorist attack? This time frame covers my life from the time I was 15 on. You would think more than a few of these would stick out. Do they count Waco and Ruby Ridge? That’s 2 that stick out in my mind.
