Minnesota is a pretty liberal state politically. However, gun rights have been expanding steadily every session thanks to a very active gun rights organization.
Last long session, five pro gun rights bills passed and none of the proposed anti gun bills passed. This has been happening with some regularity over a number of years.
And for some reason, even though the gun control lobby claims that large majorities favor stricter gun laws, those that vote against them don’t seem to be getting voted out of office.
