We got so nailed with bills, property taxes, mom’s medical expenses and the fridge dying that the obligatory Finger Flipping Di Fi By Buying Another Gun is frozen. I was thinking a 9mm carbine of sorts, maybe in AR Platform that takes Glock mags or the Ruger PC.

Apparently having a way to preserve foodstuff with cold overrides by wanting a gun. Who knew?

  1. Do you honestly think they can get it passed??? They have enough votes to over ride Trump veto? I cant see Trump signing this. Senate passing this would be political suicide
Besides, look at the city and state “bans” that go ignored. We all know even the feds dont have the man power to go door to door. 393 million PLUS guns in America. Good F in luck

    1. Rubio pushing “Red Flag” laws, Romney being a dick, McConnell not being “confrontational,” Collins, and maybe other RINOS, Trump’s bumpstocks ban? Yes I CAN see it passing. Maybe not likely, but it could happen.

      1. I think Merco is going to be surprised how difficult a possible re-election will be next year. And if he did not get the message out of Scott’s election, I have no idea what will. He got infected by the Bush compassionate Conservative virus. At least Jeb got sick after he left office.

      2. I was asking if an “assult weapon” ban would pass. The bump stock crap is an atf ruling that has been challenged and will end up in court. I am not panicking YET

    2. It’s one thing to ignore a ban if the gun is a safe queen. A whole ‘nother level of exposure and risk if you actually, you know, want to take it out and shoot it.

  2. Perhaps just the cheapest AR lower you can find? Around here that’s ~$50 … and they can become anything: pistol, SBR, etc., with all that potential you just know it is evil in her eyes!

(And no, I wouldn’t be surprised at an attempted ban at selling stripped lowers, either, because you can build them any way you like.)

  3. You may need to invest money to keep food cool but if you have a gun you can get fresh food every day without any more costs! 😀

    Just kdding, of course.

  4. For me it’s ammo. Still got to buy a 1000 round case of .357 magnum and 5.56. Already bought 2K of .40S&W and 500 .45ACP (don’t shoot it as much) but got to get a set of new truck tires. I’m still donating to the NRA.

      1. I have at double that saved away and 900 in my secondary range supply just of .357. My stockpile does not go down. It’s just which case do I go for first. There is no such thing as enough.

I’ve though about reloading. But I’m buzy and lazy.
