Gen. Mark Milley Held Secret Pentagon Meeting, Told Staff Not To Take Orders From President Donald Trump Regarding Nuclear Weapons

According to CNN, who reviewed the book, Milley ‘called a secret meeting in his Pentagon office on January 8 to review the process for military action, including launching nuclear weapons. […] Milley instructed them not to take orders from anyone unless he was involved.’

“No matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I’m part of that procedure,” Milley said, according to the book.

“Got it?” asked Milley.

“Yes, sir,” replied his senior staff.

Then there is this:

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff undermined the chain of command and put more effort into protecting China from a duly elected President than the safe withdrawal of US citizens and troops out of Afghanistan.

This is actual fucking treason and Milley is going to get a pass and a million dollar gig at a defense contractor.

The greatest threat to this country is the people who run the country.

  1. If you are referring to a good place to hang a traitor, then its a “yardarm” with no space. A “yard arm” is the weapon I am openly carrying on my property when mowing the grass or raking leaves.

  2. Fox News had an item about this. Lots of denials coming out of the Pentagon. And what they said in rebuttal does sound plausible for the most part.

In other words, the unanswered question is whether the book is fiction or reality. Given the authorship, either is possible.
